Nice job Wildflowerchild! It is really hard to stick to your plan when eating out and you nailed it. Enjoy yourself on Easter. You earned it!
I didn't eat terribly today, but I ate more junk than I should have. Lots of salty foods. No sugar though. I had a headache this morning and felt blah most of the day. No exercise other than the chores I did. I'm a little disappointed in myself. Tomorrow is a new day. |

I was so upset this morning. I weighed myself and I gained two pounds. Even though I’ve been eating well. I am trying to convince myself it’s just water weight because my period starts tomorrow. I wanted to say **** it and eat a large fast food meal for lunch but I decided not to. I still got fast food but a much smaller meal. Only 640 calories. I’m about 140 calories under my goal for the day. It’s only 6:30pm so I’ll probably need to eat one more time before bed because I will be hungry. I’m still depressed but at least I didn’t freak out and binge.
No walking today, didn’t feel like it. I should have because it’s going to be raining for the next two days. But oh well. I only have two pairs of pants that still fit. That’s ****ing depressing as well. __________________ Of course it is happening inside your head. But why on earth should that mean that it is not real? -Albus Dumbledore That’s life. I feel your pain Wildflowerchild. I've eaten well all week and the scale hasn't budged. I'm also retaining water weight, so I am hoping my work this week will pay off next week.
I ate healthy today and I did 30 minutes of walk/run. Rain and cold weather is on the way here, so I'll be working out indoors for a while. |

I'm off olanzapine and slept more than 10 hours last night, which is a ridiculous amount. My fitbit also says I'm up to 7,400 steps and have burnt 1,510 calories so far today. My heart rate runs high and it bases the calorie count based on that. So Yay Me!
I have to add olanzapine to my mix if my sleep gets disrupted since even a small amount does wonders for my sleep in that situation and helps keep me stable. My weight this morning is still good even though I went to MacDonalds and got a salt fix. Today it was sushi again with my son. We were celebrating him starting a new job next week that pays 50% more, once you count things like their incentive plan, than his last job. It is almost unheard of in this town to get a raise like that. I am still only getting much of an appetite in the evening and as long as I keep deserts and chips out of the house I seem to be doing ok with my weight, even with the occasional fast food run. __________________ BP 1 with psychotic features 50 mg Lyrica 50 mcg Synthroid 2.5 mg olanzapine |

WildFlowerChild: Sorry to hear about your two pound gain. That would upset anyone. I'm sure it's just water weight and you will have good results next week. The same thing used to happen to me when i had my period. Congrats on eating a moderate fast food meal instead of an enormous one.
Fern: Wow -- you can RUN!!! I do this old-lady shuffle and i am only 52. Good for you! Like WFC, i am sure good results on the scale are in store for you once your body throws off the water weight. tecomsin: Glad things are going well with your weight and congrats on the success of your son. Today was not so good. I fought off the urge to binge twice but i gave in the third time. Chips and chocolate. Well, i had four good days out of five so that is still an 80% success rate, so overall i am not doing too badly. I just have tomorrow and Saturday to go before my first big weigh-in. If i get a good result it will sure put wind in my sails! Here is a cartoon of a shrinking woman that i like because it reminds me that weight loss is a process. cartoon — imgbb.com Last edited by Anonymous41462; Apr 18, 2019 at 11:00 PM.. |

It's 6:30am and i have been up all night with a stomach ache. I get frequent stomach aches. I think i have gastroparesis. I'm going to see my doctor about it. In the meantime, i'm going to try following a gastroparesis diet so i'm abandoning my weight-loss diet for now. Good luck to everyone!

Your period can actually make you retain water or gain weight so give yourself some love. Congrats on making the choice to get the smaller meal. It is small choices like that which over time will make the difference. |

I’ve been eating okay. I haven’t stepped on the scale but I don’t think it’s going to say what I want it to. With the nicer weather we’ve been having I’ve been more active which I’m sure is a good thing for my overall health and will eventually show on the scale. I’ve been wanting to eat everything I can get my hands on, including things I shouldn’t be eating but I think that’s from my period coming. Hopefully it passes soon.

I have been doing great with my eating most of the daytime hours, but in the later evenings (8 to 10 pm) I overeat.

I just got back from walking briskly for an hour- paused timer for a pee break. Getting a shower while doing laundry. Need something for lunch.

I admire all of you that are able to eat well and exercise. I just can't motivate myself to do that. I've just settled with the idea that I will be fat. The cravings for sugar and fast foods are just too strong to overcome.

You can do it! None of us are able to do it all of the time, but the days we try count. The cravings get better the more you cut back. The more you eat these foods, the more you want them. It is a crap cycle, but it gets better after a while. Don't give up hope if you want to be healthier. If not, that's fine too. We accept you any way you choose to be.

Fern: The gastroparesis diet is bland, soft, low-fiber, non-fat food eaten in six small meals a day. By it's nature, it will be a low-calorie diet. I just meant that i want to focus on the types of food without getting crazed about cals and calorie-counting. I'm quite a wreck today. I didn't sleep til 8:00am and i'm all dehydrated and headachey.

Today started out with healthy eating, but then my mother in law surprised us with an Easter cake. I decided to go for it and treat myself. We had junk for dinner, but healthier than take out junk. Turkey burgers and sweet potato fries.
Speaking of healthier versions of things, I am always looking for new recipes to try. I'd love some links if anyone has recommendations. It rained all day and I only exercised a little while I was waiting on dinner to cook. I guess a little bit is better than nothing. I'm going to try to stay off the scale for a few days though to give my body time to drop the water weight. I'd take a 1 lb loss at this point. |

Yesterday I went way over because we went out to dinner and I had a drink. Did you know mike’s hard has 220 calories? I limited myself to one. I better go back to my spiked seltzer’s. Only 100 calories per serving. Or, just not drink at all lol. I rarely drink anyway. I did walk half a mile though so that’s good. Today I’m on track to be under calories. I had fast food for lunch but only a sandwich, no fries. I spent 1.5 hours cleaning my son’s absolute wreck of a room so I’m sure that counted for some exercise
Also my scale is low on batteries so I won’t be able to weigh myself until I get new ones. Probably best that way. __________________ Of course it is happening inside your head.
