I've have learned that most humans burn .42 calories per pound, per hour, while in REM. Not tossing and turning.
In my case, 84 calories per hour.
I've been fighting sleep all my life. Thinking the opposite.

I have the pleasure of anouncing that I burned 720 calories last night.
Just by sleeping. It's always REM with the L-Tryptophan.
I don't even get up. Not even a single time.
Life is good.

Cheers.

If not hypomanic/manic I feel drained without much sleep. It really impacts my life. A good sleep changes everything. I dream a lot so it’s great to hear I’m exercising. Maybe the crash after hypo/mania is partly due to lack of sleep.

I agree a good sleep changes everything. I take care of my daughter’s dog so I get up once between 2-5 am to take him out...a different kind of exercise. It’s good to know how many calories I’m burning while I sleep.
