Hi all, as of tomorrow I will have been on the straight depression medication, Trintellix, for four weeks. I have gotten completely off the Seroquel and I have been able to kick the Prilosec that was prescribed as a side effect medication to the Seroquel. I am sleeping just fine with taking just a Melatonin at night; my thoughts seem clearer; I seem to have more energy. Plus I just have got a happiness around me on it that never seemed to happen with the Seroquel. My Psych is really impressed with how well I am doing and he personally thinks that I was never Bipolar in the first place; I think he is correct in his assumption that it was a severe depression made worse by everything that had happened to me. I just wanted to let everyone know how I was doing; since I haven't been posting as regularly.

That's great news. Good to hear from you. How's your heart rate has that stabilized?

In regards to the heart; I am doing alright with the medication he last put me on. I am feeling good heart wise; My Fitness Tracker has me sitting around 88-95 which I'm pretty happy with; as is my Cardiologist. Granted I'm still seeing him biweekly but I understand his reasoning for it. Thank you for asking about how I was doing heart wise.

wonderful news! severe depression can cover a lot of ground, in terms of 'symptoms,' so...I'm glad you're getting safe, effective treatment that doesn't mess your life up. :-)
