First significant amount of social interaction in months, spent the whole day with my friend and had so much fun!

Did some chores, made all meals, did a load of laundry, made a hair coloring and eyebrow wax appointment, and took a full shower washing my hair. Didn't eat all of what I planned for myself in my diet meal plan.

Forced myself to go out to the movies with my daughter even though I didn’t feel up to it. I feel better for having gone.

Today was a pretty low functioning day, and there was a whole lot of sitting on the couch with a heating pad. But I did manage the housework essentials, and kitty care. I had a bath, managed to straighten my hair, put on some make up and get to a couple of shops for provisions.

I tried to cheer my cousin and myself up by writing her an email in which I imagined a silly and funny reality show based on my struggles in the days of covid reopening. My goofy terrier gets to play a part and gets his own groomer on the set!
I researched getting a new pharmacy-ours has gone to hell trying to give covid shots in a minuscule space in a Target store. I thought about how to solve some very serious problems. I entertained my ex who was helping in the kitchen by reading funny and wonderful dog stories from Apple News such as dog gives woodchuck a ride across a lake and receives a woodchuck kiss from the rodent--this is a true story, I swear! and retriever dog saves fawn by dragging it across a lake. These are true stories! I read some amazing thoughts about how to deal with difficult situations on this forum. Great post! Two of my favorite people are on this post, BB and Fern. I have been off the forum for months and you folks make me realize I need it so thanks! __________________ Bipolar 2 with anxious distress mixed states & rapid cycling under severe stress tegretol 200 mg wellbutrin 75 mg, cut in half or higher dose as needed Regular aerobic exercise SKILLSET/KNOWLEDGE BASE: Family Medical Advocate Masters in Library Science Multiple Subject Teaching Credential-15 yrs in public schools |

My Dr. put me on Lamactil. It actually made my depression and anxiety worse. We monkeyed around with the dosage and I finally said, I'm done with this, and took myself off, I know you aren't supposed to do this, but I did it very slowly and incrementally. I am so glad I did this. I went a whole year with it and am so sad I didn't realize it was a horrible fit sooner.

I keep replying to old threads. That is funny.
What I accomplished today was learning to look at the year of a post when responding. I put laundry away and took the trash out. __________________ "Great things are done by a series of small things brought together." Vincent Van Gogh |

I called and made a payment plan for my medical bill. It’s too much a month for me but it is what it is. I’ll make it work.
I went for a walk even though I really, really didn’t want to. But my sciatica was so painful and I knew a walk would loosen my back up so I went. __________________ Of course it is happening inside your head. Shifted my routines and schedule to adapt to new circumstances. Painted in my studio, very productive! Helped my aunt by driving her home from the hospital. Yikes! A lot of activity today without getting stressed. Whew!
