During the last month I signed up for psych tech classes, got my ex a concierge doctor after getting 2 new heart specialists for him, needing two more and still looking for best possible pdoc for my meds change after being shunted to a practitioner for my bp2 . Incompetent pdoc left her practice—Elvis has let the building LOL LOL
Also drove to San Diego to visit often grumpy overworked son, daughter in law I dont know how to handle and 2 elem school grandsons. Spoke to son about long term planning for us as a family. With a lot of help from my online friends I moved forward on so many things. However, I have been exhausted for months, sobbing occasionally (they made a big discovery for my friends w ptsd), messing up the gps and not finding the motel til son rescued me. I should slow down—ya think? I could take 75 mg Wellbutrin every other day, or add another stabilizer and titrate off the Wellbutrin. I can use the hypomania to accomplish things or kill it off by dropping the Wellbutrin and risking going below center—big price to pay because i cant take antipsychotics as stabilizers so it would have to be tegretol and lithium.. Last med change was a disaster. SO YAY AND WHOA!!! __________________ Bipolar 2 with anxious distress mixed states & rapid cycling under severe stress tegretol 200 mg wellbutrin 75 mg, cut in half or higher dose as needed Regular aerobic exercise SKILLSET/KNOWLEDGE BASE: Family Medical Advocate Masters in Library Science Multiple Subject Teaching Credential-15 yrs in public schools |

Sorry just seeing this. It’s so hard to get hypo and have loads of ambition and getting stuff done.... and then have to decide if you should take a Med to knock it out of you or not. Question... do your hypos always lead to full blown mania or mixed ? __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |

Thanks for responding. You folks are my best support anywhere. No surprise, you get it.
I dont go full blown manic but climb up to the point where I may be working against myself. Very hard to slow down., hard to rest, and i verbally eviscerate those who try to play intimidation games with me, rather than sloughing it off. If I unload on my daughter in law in San Diego who is really trying to block me from grandkids and son, I will pay a high price. I was an elem teacher for the exact age of my grandsons. I get a strong take on them. The younger one is a lot like ME, so I totally get him. I cant unload on her like she is goading me to. Same with all relationships. I have to learn to set boundaries then be prepared to seek out new people and situations where the negatives dont occur so often. I cant use my energy counterproductively. I have to avoid people with the aggressive facebook quantity rather than quality approach to life. Avoid that route to burnout. Someone on the forum suggested a private pdoc who may be the best person for me. Made a solid list to sequence and prioritize things. Unloaded some audiobooks to help me relax. I even found a bipartisan citizens action committee which promotes consensus building instead of the cult of personality and fake news that has taken over politics. Ill try to chill out until computer guy comes to upgrade my ex’s system to apple. Tomorrow Ill check for your tips! Thanks for being there, you folk are THE BEST! __________________ Bipolar 2 with anxious distress mixed states & rapid cycling under severe stress tegretol 200 mg wellbutrin 75 mg, cut in half or higher dose as needed Regular aerobic exercise SKILLSET/KNOWLEDGE BASE: Family Medical Advocate Masters in Library Science Multiple Subject Teaching Credential-15 yrs in public schools |
