Tried writing this a couple of times but had to do other stuff.

Twisted my ankle yesterday on the front steps, then fell. Sprained my right foot and scraped up my back. Other than a little pain and swelling I’m fine. My ankles are small and twist often, but this was the first time I actually hurt something. My mother used to sprain her ankles a lot, so it’s hereditary on that part. Thankfully my daughter doesn’t have that issue.

Otherwise the usual stuff is going on. Putting in a new dishwasher tomorrow because the top part of the old one broke off. Strange. I have a boot to wear for a few days so I can get other things done.

Love to everyone. Hope all is well, or about to be well in time.

I've got a sprained right ankle as well. I'm also using a boot when I need to walk some distance.

I've sprained my left one numerous times and ended up having surgery to repair the damage about 10 years ago.

I hope you heal quickly - it's miserable.

We finally played the games. He loved them but one was too intense. He won one and we lost one (co-op game). My other games come in tomorrow. Miguel's having trouble at camp connecting, He's been avoiding family there because we said pretend they're not there. We meant don't rely on them, remember they're busy too and make friends. He's been actively avoiding them and taking on jobs that they are not on. He probably became very cold to them. We sent them a text that they'll see when not busy.

Wild .... do you still have a T ?? Sounds like you might need to have some help poking around in your head to hopefully settle things down. I’m still in a nightly ptsd cycle myself , it’s exhausting.

Birdancer ... I hope that your able to manage through these rough days. Once things settle down I’m sure you will be able to get back in your normal routine. How’s your dad holding up?

So my sister triangulated in my life again. She complained to my son about something she didn't mention to me and then claimed that I was going manic and he needed to investigate and have me hospitalized. We simply had a disagreement about something. So therefore i must be crazy.

That is so unfair to you!!!

I have no patience with triangulators!!!
(Those who triangulate.)

Sorry you've had to deal with her nonsense, tecomsin.

Sister still not speaking to me, but I am okay with it. I have been doing really well, concentrating on school and trying to figure out what career path I want to go on.

Hi there!
Always glad to hear from you!

Rifts with family members can be sad and, often, unsettling.
So glad you have continued on with what's important in your life.
You know how I feel about you!

Christina, you've been so sweet checking on how we're doing. Big hugs to you. I'm hoping your pain continues to ease, my PC friend.

It was stressful tonight at the viewing. Luckily, I went with my sister, brother, and nephew. There are always awkward moments with relatives and townies not seen for a while. Tomorrow is the official service. There will be even more people. Families are so complex! I won't even go into why/how.

My dad went early to the viewing with his remaining brother. That uncle was taking him home when my siblings and I arrived. My dad's not holding up well at all. He's fully back on the bottle after only weeks out of the psych hospital and detox. My dad has always been a sensitive soul. His brother's death has hit him hard on a few levels. Everyone seemed to know about his drinking, even people that came from far away. It will kill him soon if he keeps it up. He's 77 and the drinking and depression make him deteriorate quickly. We can't make him stop. He has to do it on his own. Alcohol abuse is terrible! So many people with bipolar and depression die in part or fully because of alcohol. RIP Amy Winehouse, Jim Morrison, Ernest Hemingway, and all of the many others who use that and other non prescribed drugs that in the end do more harm than good.

I barely made it home. There was flooding on the route home. One car was stuck in a deeply flooded part of the road. People coming from the other direction were turning around. I had to choose to either turn around and go another longer route (which could have also been flooded), or give it a try to get through it. I chose the latter. I backed up, put on my emergency lights, and then put my car in a low gear and shot forward basically flying over the flooding. I made it with my Honda Civic. I think my manual transmission and going through fairly quickly was the key. I wanted to go home and definitely not get stuck like hubby and I did the other day en route home from vacation. Luckily, tomorrow is supposed to be sunny.

Oh good grief !

This is one of my pet peeves.

A person with Bipolar can get upset/mad/*****y/sad and it has NOTHING to do with Bipolar.

Sorry your having to deal with this nonsense.

I hadn't showed any emotion or got upset, mad or sad.

I didn't even know she was upset because I disagreed with her. For the simple reason of having an opinion that didn't agree with hers she decided I was having an episode and scared my son into believing that I was having an urgent mental health crisis. All the while she had asked him not to reveal to me that she had talked to him and wanted me hospitalized.

BirdDancer. Oh damn hun so many things one after another after another.

Glad you made it home. Sometimes it is best to take a deep breath and floor it through some life struggles

I hope your Dad can slow down at least. Your Brother can’t keep an eye on him? I hope so, you have enough on your plate

I will keep you in my thoughts
