Currently binge-watching the Showtime show Billions, which is really fun. I used to work with a bunch of hedge fund guys and gals and it reminds me of the bad old days...

Favorite dessert of all time?

I don't do desert

but if I have something, it's usually just a plain yogourt (it is very, very rare)

tell me something funny that happened to you in the past week

Normally this would be easy to answer, but the last few weeks home bound have afforded little. I guess something strangely funny was that a friend of ours called saying she wanted to "come over" because she was getting stir crazy at home. However, she didn't want to come in our house for the sake of social distancing. She offered to bring us a few things, which she did. Upon arrival, she rang our doorbell and we went down to meet her. We had a 5 minute fun conversation with her on the outside of our front door, and us on the inside, looking at each other through the door window. Then she left and we picked up the goodie package on the porch.

Q: What has been the strangest thing you saw since the covid 19 pandemic started?

A normally busy Market Basket parking lot completely empty at 6:30pm. Same with the ER, when I went the other day there were like three cars in the patient parking lot when usually you can't find a spot.

Is your area being hit hard by the pandemic?

My area lacks test kits so we don't really know what we have. My county is officially 0 but that's not true.

Does not seeing your therapist/pdoc in person cause more anxiety for you?

No. I teleworked a lot in the past. I had to find ways to feel comfortable and connected with people whether I was in person or not. I love not having to drive to these appointments.

How much money have you saved in gas staying home?

None--I don't have a car anymore. I ride my bike everywhere.

When do you imagine we will be able to go back outside again?

honestly, it would be good if they sorted out something at least by summer.

in reality, I imagine it's going to be much longer sadly- maybe until september/ october

when we can go outside again, what will be the first thing you do (or the first place you go.)

Yesterday I told a good friend that my husband and I would take her and her boyfriend to an excellent Szechuan restaurant. It's my favorite restaurant. She is Chinese, but not from Szechuan province, but she said she likes that food. It's spicy and delicious!

Q: Have you done anything to help anyone during this hard time (the pandemic)?

Can you think of one question that is not related to that thing?

Have not. Not very knowledgable about Katy Perry. Will have to shake it out.

Have you ever tried red lentil pasta? I just tried it. It was good.

Yes! I like it too. I did not love chickpea pasta...

What is your favorite recipe? It can be for any meal or a treat.

My grandma Gayle has had a famous fudge recipe in the family for over 40 years. That's my favorite!

What was the last CD you listened to in its entirety?

Listening to MSNBC.

Are aspects of the COVID situation making you angry?

Yes, it angers me that some states are still treating it like no big deal. Also, that the US executive branch is not delivering on some urgent pleas for help and supplies.

Q: Do you get hungry and snack during the middle of the night often? Or at least get thirsty in the middle of the night?
