I don't own a lot of land, but I do have an herb garden and space for flowers and shrubs. I also grow flowers on my deck.

Q: Do you ever eat in the middle of the night? If so, usually what?

Ha!!!! All the time. Ice cream is a fave, if it is around. Bananas, if I am still asleep.

Favorite fruit?

A perfect nectarine, hard to come by. So blueberries.

Do you eat processed foods regardless of the health warnings?

Blackberries. This may be surprising, but when you manage to find a very delicious blackberry, it can be quite the paradise. I like most all berries, though.

Q: Have you ever experienced any kind of change in your sense of taste or smell as a result of psychotropic medications? I have with a couple, but not most.

What happened in the last dream you can remember?
In my last dream I had a huge red dog laying on me as I watched TV on the floor. 🥰 I really want a dog in my life ATM, I've been searching rescue sites and even looked for the dog in my dream hoping it was a sign, no luck yet

Yeah, I had a change in taste but I can't remember what medication it was from.

Do you have any house plants? If so, what kind?

I have 2 spider plants in my (humongous) shower. They love it! And a bamboo in the kitchen. My cats dig up the soil so I can’t have plants anywhere else or I would!

Do you think daily about some stupid thing you’ve done while manic?

Ugh. Yes. Almost every day I think about a period of time between August and November of 2018 when I was manic. I destroyed public property and more than a few relationships. I ended up IP.

Have you ever drawn a self portrait?

Yes, in HS. It was interesting because I was neither manic or depressed when I did it. Later, during mood swings, it didn’t look anything like the me in the mirror. Never did one again, it was too confusing.

Do you think BP interferes with your sense of identity?

I suppose it does in the sense that I find it hard sometimes to separate myself from my mental illness and not be defined by it.

Have you ever had to deal with bad side effects of a medication because otherwise it was helping?

Zoo/wild animal--sloths because their physiology amazes me

Have you eaten out since the stay at home has been lifted or reduced, if that is true for you?

i saw one episode. It was pretty good, but it did not have me in an uncontroled, life-altering frenzy for more.

What time of day have you been going to the grovery store during the crisis?

My husband and I have been doing a lot of online grocery shopping, as well. We order from both Whole Foods (through Amazon) and another online grocer called Fresh Direct, out of NYC, each once per week when we can procure a delivery time/day, which isn't always easy. Each lacks some products that the other has, therefore the two. We (or I) do also quickly run in and out of our local grocery store or CVS about once per week. Again, for product(s) not available through online purchase. We've also gone to Home Depot a couple times for some gardening stuff that our local grocery store doesn't have. Also, the liquor store for hubby. Very few grocery stores sell liquor in my area. There have always been separate liquor stores. For a while, it was curbside pickup from online orders. Now they let people go into the store again, if desired. Masks are still required in my state.

Q: What shop(s) or restaurant(s) have you missed going to since the pandemic started?

Bike shops used to be fun for me to browse and look around.

Do you know much about WW 2 or are you at all interested in it? I don't know very much. I did lose a great uncle to it. I have always felt that those allies, including the then-Soviet Union, literally saved the planet. So, I have been learning more about it. I never, ever cry. But reading about these men and women and what they sacrificed for each of us, for the entire world--it brings me to tears. Every time.

honestly I wish I knew more about it.

I know when it started, and I know when it ended- also a few years ago when I was in hospital I met someone who had served in world war 2 and he was quite interesting to talk to and had a lot to share about life back then

I love history. my favorite true event in history is the sinking of the titanic (I find it facinating), but the great fire of london too, and even theories about jack the ripper.. yeah. history was always a favorite subject even at school.

so history question:

if you had a time machine, and could travel to anywhere in history, where would you go and why?

I'd visit herstory or better yet, their story. His story has been on repeat for millennia and I'm over it.

Do you budget your money strictly, or just pay for whatever comes up as it does and hope for the best?
