Do you like poetry at all?

Absolutely! I read a lot of poetry in my youth. I still read a bit, though now I usually read ones from blogs, rather than published ones.I've even tried my hand at writing some poetry, though I'm quite a novice.

That "normal" people would haev a really, really hard time being one of us for more than a couple of hours. They are all freaking about this isolation, but most of us are isolated all the time. Anyway...

What is your favorite bird?

I don't really like birds much, but I guess penguins. They are cool because the males take care of the babies.

Do you prefer cats or dogs?

I like both a lot. Cats are underrated.

Favorite movie of all time?

I can't choose between wizard of oz or lion king

growing up, wizard of oz played a huge roll when I came home from school, I grabbed my video of it and watched it (sometimes more than once a night)

lion king's one of those films that are just feel good. the songs alone really set a good atmosphere for the rest of the day

and I've seen it so many times (probably just as much as wizard of oz)
question: if you were tasked to cook for a dinner party, what would you personally like to see on the menu?

There was this incredible chicken dish I got from Martha Stewart years ago and then lost, tragically. It has a balsamic marinade, roasted corn, roasted peppers, some other stuff. It is really colorful and delicious. Wish I could find that.

Watching any good shows lately?

Reading one by Steven Coll about the years in the CIA that led up to 9/11. We totally screwed that whole thing up. Big-time. Politicians, American ones, anyway, can be such morons.

No, but my parents did take my siblings and me to Disney World in Florida when we were kids (1979?) I think I also went there again as a teen, with just my parents (1987?), when visiting my brother who was in that area in the navy. We live on the east coast of the US. I have been to Southern California and lived in the Bay Area for a couple years in the past, but had no desire to visit Disneyland there.

Q: What hobbies/activities give you the most pleasure in life, nowadays?

surfing the internet, listening to music, watching tv, basically the same as it's always been.

question: how often do you go out without really caring about what you look like?, and has anyone ever commented?

I never care what I look like. I look in a mirror maybe once a month or so.

Have you ever made your own ice cream? It's super fun!

Absolutely! I have one of the old-fashioned types of ice cream makers (giant bucket you fill with ice and salt with metal cylinder that turns by a motor). I've made fresh strawberry ice cream a number of times, pistachio gelato a few times, and recently, caramelized banana ice cream. They were all wonderful, though I did prefer one of the two pistachio gelato recipes over the other. I will make others. The beautiful thing about the banana ice cream and gelato is that they require comparatively little milk fat and yet are still very creamy and indulgent.

Q: What is something that you're not doing that you think you should push yourself to do?

I'm so bad at it- always anxious, or thinking about something, or what ever.

was their ever a time in your life that you had a clear life plan and goals? (regardless if they are now not able to happen)

A) I have done. And sometimes they have commented. Or given me a ''funny'' look.

How dare they I look how I am supposed to look, a lovely, grizzly bear

Q) What is your favourite thing to cook?
