Not sleeping. Nauseous. Can’t organize my thoughts. Dark thoughts are returning. And that is just the start.

Hi Crook. I'm sorry to read that you are struggling. I concur with Christina that a call to your psychiatrist may be the best next move. Hugs

Just got notice that my pdoc cancelled my med refills. He has never done that. They are 3 weeks out but they are mail order so I always do them early because it can take two weeks to get them.

Right now my biggest stressor is still work and constantly having to be perfect or I get in trouble. Other stressor is getting my kids ready for school because they are going to a new one this year. I think I have more anxiety about it than them.

I was up most of the night nauseous. I ate about half a sleeve of saltines cause I couldn’t eat anything else.

Have you called your Pdoc to ask why your refills have been cancelled?? Maybe was a mistake? I’d do that ASAP. and then report your poor sleep and see if you can get something for a brief time to allow you get much needed sleep

Definitely call your Pdoc like the others have already wisely said, @Crook32! Your health is important! Also try not to worry too much about your kids - although I understand that it's rather hard to do as a parent!! Please NEVER give up Hope! I hope things will go well at work! Keep posting here if it helps! You know we DO care! Please stay safe, friend! Sending many safe, warm hugs to BOTH you and your Family, @Crook32!

Thanks everyone. Why should I pay a T I should just come here.

Pdoc office is closed until Thursday. I just don’t know if he was going to be in on Thursday though. He was going to be out of the office for parts of two weeks but I don’t know when.

Keep your fingers crossed that traffic remains good for me. I started an experiment late so I will be leaving later than I would like. I have to get the kids from camp before 6.

You just feel depression all through your body. Some of the feelings can’t be described. Maybe I need another ketamine booster.

I can get it same day some times. But generally within 3 days. I just got a cortisone shot in my knee today. So that will be hurting for a few days.

I emailed my T and asked if she would write something back that I could read over again and maybe not feel so lost. It will be our 5 year anniversary in 2 weeks but we will both be on vacation.

Of course she did not write back like I figured even though I directly asked. Also my knee is stiff and hurting from the shot and of course all I have been doing this morning is running from lab to lab.

Give yourself as close as you can to a time out here. Remember you’ll get your meds one way or the other. Your internist can tide you over if necessary. What are your go tos for self care when your mood starts to go down? You identified the trigger-the meds situation. Get a good night’s sleep. Visualize us here with you keeping watch over you in alternating shifts until you feel better.. Ask your partner to pitch in a little more until you feel better or get a babysitter who can drive to help take some chores off you. Tell her what you are going through and that you need help and hugs and a little pampering til you bounce back in a few days. Get out in the fresh air for a walk. Take a mental health day off from work if you have to —everyone gets sick sometimes and this is our version of sick. You can cough to make it convincing if you have to. You’ll be back in shape in a couple days. Keep posting. We’re here! Hugs!
