Take chances, make mistakes and get messy! -Ms. Frizzle

I honestly say this to myself, still. I found Ms. Frizzle to be a bit of a hero of mine haha. I am also constantly afraid of making mistakes and messing up, so it kind of reminds me that to learn you have to get a little "messy".

I used to hate the highchair, absolutely hate it

to help with the experience I was taught a song about it:

sitting in a high chair big chair my chair, sitting in a high chair bang my spoon

sitting in the high chair, big chair my chair, sitting in the high chair feed me soon

I don't remember the verses, but that was basically it

Had a little wind up toy that looked like a radio. Was decorated with animals and a farmer. It played farmer in the dell and had the words printed on the back,.....always like that happy little tune.

I had a little toy car.

the idea was, you said start the engine, and it would start, or light the lights, and it would do that

so I started telling it.. goo goo ga ga, and stuff like that

made it do all kinds of weird stuff. it was fun!

discovering the cat in the hat

I actually discovered it as part of a kids variety programme (no full stories or anything, just parts of stories)

" they sat in the house, with the bat and the ball

but it was raining outside, they did nothing at all"

best quote ever
