Saw pdoc at t’s advice. He said I’m Hypo and headed up. He cut my antidepressant dose. I’m supposed to see him again in three weeks but call him in one week and let him know how I’m doing.

He also said I’m rapid cycling. I told him God is talking to me through worship music. I also told him how I went to my church’s worship night and it was amazing and I’m on a Jesus high!!!!!!!

I see t tomorrow.

I'm sorry but I had to laugh at this. Literally only a problem for those on the bp spectrum and our treatment team, and people without sza or bp would be like "whaaa? that doesn't sound like a problem!"

I hope your t appointment goes well and you get to enjoy a short hypo without any painful consequences or a crash.

Enjoy while it lasts but I'd call pdoc back. When I start talking about how I'm one with God and the universe Im manic. Seems like you might be headed that way.

There’s nothing wrong with feeling great after a religious service , but this is a road you have travelled down many times in the past. I just hope this doesn’t lead you down a rabbit hole.

I’m glad your Pdoc made a change in your AD ! I hope it pulls you back to baseline.

In half. For tomorrow.

It's fine to feel amazing but it's the "side effects" that are the issue.

My favorite line to my psychiatrist is "not everything is clinical". His response to me is "you lack insight". I never see when I'm manic. I have to be told. I know all the words. Hypermotor, pressured speech, word salad, delusions of grandeur, irrational spending, magic thinking, I could go on but they don't mean anything to me.. It really does take a psychiatrist to diagnose mania because we as patients often as the clinical term says "lack insight".

Stay in touch with your psychiatrist. He's the guy to do the diagnosing.

I've been surprised at how many people will laugh, and join in, when I do it

How do you feel today compared to yesterday, now that you’ve reduced your AD dose?
