Me-- I think 16 or 18 hours on Seroquel one day. Then I've gone 72 hrs without sleep, but it was when I had a massive, nasty migraine in university.

I think I’ve skipped 2 nights of sleep and gone to sleep on the 3rd night. The longest I’ve stayed in bed is probably the same as you

When depressed, I've slept up to 14 or 16 hours some nights. However, I've stayed in bed (with just trips to the bathroom or fridge) 24 hours for weeks.

When manic, I usually still get at least 2 hours of sleep, though not usually quality hours. I'm not sure if I ever got zero sleep for multiple days in a row, but I've had weeks where I only got 2 to 4 hours max per night.

The most, a day and a half, I was sick with pneumonia.

The least, 4 1/2 days that ended with hospitalization and a giant shot of something

Most amount is 18-20 hours a day when I’m depressed although thankfully that’s been a long while now.

Least amount was four-five days when I first started Abilify.

16-18 I believe.
I used to sleep like 3-5 hours for periods and then sleep for 12-18 hours to make up for it.
^^
This was before medication.

With Seroquel 8-12, but if I slept less than 9 I would be sleepy all day and feel like hangover. If I slept 9 or more I would be fine after a cup of coffee.

I’m on Lamictal now and I sleep 5-8 hours, prefer atleast 6. Every now and then I need to catch up by sleeping more or take a long nap.

—-

Sleep is the most important coping mechanism for me. (I have many, some almost equally important)
It helps balance my mind and body. Less anxiety and less paranoia. It even lessen the impact of triggers.

I’m doing really fine atm

Edit:
Without sleep: I’ve gone several weeks with less than 3 hours sleep, escalating into almost no sleep the last week before I crashed into the manic sphere.
Don’t want to do that again…

Like bird dancer, I’ve not necessarily slept but have stayed in bed for months, only getting up to use the rest room. The most I’ve actually slept I would say is about 18 hours.

The longest with no sleep was my most severe manic episode. I got 2-3 hours of sleep for about 5 months straight (and was functioning on that) and then about 3 days with 20 minute naps, a few more weeks of 2-3 hour nights, then a major crash.

I've gone 3 weeks without sleep, but I was wildly manic and in patient. No matter what they gave me I couldn't sleep. The longest I ever slept was 2 days after being heavily sedated.

The longest I ever slept was maybe 14-16 hours. That`s when I used to take Seroquel. The longest I`ve ever gone without sleep is 4 days. That was because I chose not to take my meds.

I had a pretty severe allergic reaction once and slept for probably around 36 hours with just small breaks for my parents to come and give me water/check to make sure I was still alive for a couple of minutes.

Ive gone probably 3 and a half days or so without sleep during mania

ditto

well: I don't remember how long it was exactly, but when I had an operation on my throat, I slept for a good amount of time (I remember waking thinking it was night, and it was mid day the next day)

It was a bit tragic because my throat really hurt. it was the only time too I ate soup (usually I'd refuse it), but it helped soov me.

I don't know about longest without, ever since I've been diagnosed sleep doesn't come to me

and when it does it's 10, 15 minits at best. it sucks

Longest time awake: 3-4 days when hypo.
Longest in bed or asleep: Although I rest more on my bed when depressed, I still have very broken sleep. I still cannot sleep during the day, although I can be so tired I could drop. So, in general, lack of sleep is an ongoing issue.

The most I've slept was about 12 - 14 hours, but I'm not sure.

The longest time without sleep was when I skipped a night of sleep. It was due to travelling (I just can't fall asleep in a bus) and it's one of the worst things I can do. I did it twice and it caused me bad mixed states in both cases.
