I have to have a psych evaluation for work. I have been waiting forever for them to schedule it. Just got notice that I have to do an online assessment and then meet with the psychologist Thursday. I have been wanting to get this over with it has been going on for three years but now that it is a reality I am panicking. I shouldn’t fail it but I can clam up when I get too nervous or worse if I am hypomanic I won’t shut up. I just need to make it to Friday.

I might be a bit anxious, too.

I think I would find ways to distract myself for a few days, as it is ways from today to Thursday. Maybe find a way to distract yourself some from thinking about it too much/too often?

I wish you well with the exam and otherwise.

Try as many distraction as possible. Just one after another.

I’d be nervous too, but you got this and will get through it

Did the online assessment. It was 344 questions. I think I might have read a few wrong since there were so many. Of course most were the same question just worded differently.

Set your intent to be brief and honest in your responses. Trust that the interviewer will dig into anything that needs further discussion and realize that part of it is beyond your control. Remind yourself this has been hanging over you for so long and it will finally be over. Come up with some sort of reward for yourself to have when it is over and look forward to that. You're almost free from this. Hang in there.

Tomorrow is the day. I hope all the suicidal ideation over the last few years doesn’t ruin everything or the ketamine treatments I have been doing.
