Does anyone else get this? My wife and I were talking and realized that most of the time while hypo my voice is hoarse and raspy, even days like today where I know I wasn't over talking. I researched it a bit, but found no real answers.

When depressed by voice is “thin” and weak and it’s very hard to vocalize. My normal voice is normal. I don’t think I have a hypo voice

I have never experienced a hoarse voice when hypomanic/manic (I don't think), but I could imagine such thing could happen. I experience a form of tension when hypomanic/manic. If one is tense, perhaps a voice could get raspy. Tension need not seem negative. It can be an excited or super charged tension.
I will share that my husband has told me many times that I get foul breath when manic. I can only assume the cause is some disturbance in my gastro intestinal system, or the like. Physical signs definitely come with mania for many people. |
