This is all so frustrating! I had a really notable day today and have oodles to say, but you'll all be spared for now. Brace yourself for tomorrow.

When do sutures come out ? Soon I hope

I got my hair cut today. It had grown to the small of my back. Surprisingly, the beautician said it was healthy. I had it cut to two inches below my shoulders. It feels great! I’ve been reborn.

I went to the dentist as well and received hugs all around. They said there is a significant difference from when I was depressed until now. They were proud of me.

M’s visit flew by. She wasn’t here but 2 days so we packed in the fun. I miss her already but will meet her in two weeks halfway between.

Back to being positive and empowering. Doing well.

Warm wishes to all and hugs to those that are struggling.

I am so happy to read this I’m glad things have improved you are indeed very loved.

I left before noon and got home at 8:30 which is a lot when feeling so tired anyway.

My pathology results (or some of them? I don't know how many things to wait for) are back and so far everything is clear. Yet the symptoms are already starting back up. I'll need to make an appointment for my GI to see what is next. I can't believe I went through bowel prep and didn't get any answers. I keep trying to remember it just means I don't have to do it when I'm 45 in 2 years. Some encouragement...

Anyway, time to get my meds and try to sleep. The last few nights I've fallen asleep in the range that usually means I'll be waking back up for several hours in the night and I've slept straight through except for the bathroom. That is a sign of how exhausted I am; I never can go to sleep so early without paying a price.

Yes it’s difficult to have testing and nothing is explaining major health problems.

Something has to be figured out tho ... you have been sick far too long

I hope you get a full night rest

Just read about it on here, someone mentioned it. I've a doctor appointment on Wednesday, yes I know, about time. I had dismissed GERD a year ago cause I don't have heart burn. But I started reading up on it about two weeks ago and found out you don't HAVE to have heart burn, instead I have chest pain and vomiting. But I was afraid the doc would order tests like barium swallow and others. Foolish I know. I was 9 the first time I had that and it was terrible.

My friend had silent GERD for years she had to have a major surgery, they basically made her a new esophagus. She went through hell and never really recovered

Barium studies are very unpleasant but it might be a good idea

I hope he can get some kind of treatment going. I’d prefer most anything else that vomiting

Are you getting any decent sleep ?

Yes, me too. I've been reading what can happen with untreated GERD and that's what tipped me into calling for an appointment.

I'm getting very interrupted sleep. I have almost no recall of my dreams and I miss them.

Lost your voice? Oh no, I'll be right there to teach you American Sign Language! Hope your appointment gets here soon.

Ummmmm you need your dreams back I enjoy hearing about them lol !!

I’ll be hacking until November 7th and then some I’m sure. My husband likely will enjoy the break ? lol

I have always wanted to learn ASL ! I binge watched a tv series called “ Switched at Birth “ was an ABC family series , many years. It’s amazing how much I truly picked up.. I would watch an episode first on mute and then watch with sound to see how I did lol

I made a new check in. I don't know how to create the link so you can go directly there, but it's under bipolar.
