Hiya. I decided to post a thread in the Health Support forum here at PC, in its Exercise & Weight Loss sub forum. Basically it's an invitation for people to post their daily eating meal plan, then go back and note if there were deviations. It can also be a place for people to reflect on how/why they deviated and what they might want to do differently.

The mentioned thread may hopefully be helpful for support and accountability. If anyone is interested in participating, the thread is at https://psychcentralforums.com/exerc...eviations.html

I wrote the initial post and also posted all of what I ate today and plan to eat. I also reflected on a challenge ahead and ask for advice on how to deal with it.

Hmmm. I probably need to participate in this but I am frightened of what I might find.

Sadly, my meals are rarely planned in advance. I often have an idea of what's for dinner, but breakfast and lunch typically come together on the fly depending on the various meals I throw together for my family. I go off the rails sometimes at snack time, so it would be a good idea for me to incorporate more accountability there.

I see a lot of value in what you're doing BirdDancer and I hope it works well for you and for others. Great idea! I may rethink my methods and join in.

bpcyclist, there is no need for people to be dieting. There would never be any judgement from me. It is good to occasionally take a look at what's going on, though. Your passion for biking is something I think about when I see your posts.

raging vortex, thanks for participating!

fern46, anyone who prefers can always post the previous day's meal descriptions. Thanks for the well wishes. The thread is actually motivating me. I need such little fires under my butt sometimes. Your exercise and diet success is also motivating me

Thanks, Birdie! What a terrific idea. Some of the food I ate today is way out of character for me, but I will start posting on your thread tomorrow.

Okay, I joined.

BethRags, I'm glad you like the idea! It'll be great for people to participate as much or however works for them. I had a little hiccup today because of a small injury.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
