If there is a DBSA group near you I would suggest going! DBS is a group of people like us who either have bipolar or depression and sometimes just hearing everyone else helps and sometimes they provide tips for living with the disorder. Also you would be able to meet people IRL who have the disorder or could relate.

I'll ask my therapist whether there's something like that near where I live. I can't seem to find a DBSA group in the neighborhood, but maybe there's something similar. |
