I sleep. I just belong to the screwy sleep schedule club. Can't stay awake past 8pm and wake up at like 2am for the day. Makes for a really long work day. I'm like dead tired by the time I get home and make dinner. Time change has me all messed up still.

I got 4 hours sleep last night.

And now I'm really tired.

I tossed and turned again all night. Got up and took my grandparents grocery shopping. Now I have to go to work for a while.

My Seroquel XR is pretty good at making me sleep well at night, but lord help me if I don't take it as scheduled. If I had to quit my Seroquel XR, I really would be scared for myself, unless I had some ultra sedating replacement. As it is, my Seroquel XR doesn't sedate me much beyond the sleeping hours.

I only slept 4 hours last night, but only because I was as sick as a dog.

I’ve been falling asleep between midnight and 2 with this new lithium and waking around 4 am. It could also be caused by stress and anxiety. I’m not tired during the day so it’s not really bothering me yet.

I hope everybody here gets some quality rest soon.

Luckily, I have lots of Law & Order (the original version) on my DVR. I can usually fall asleep to that or Forensic Files.

Hope you were able to get some sleep

Well I got zero sleeps again.

There’s a definite patten tho. I sleep 4-6 hours at most then 2 days of zero sleep then I’ll get my big ole 4-6 hours. Wash rinse repeat

I’m not enjoying this particular Merry Go Round and would like to get off.

Christina, I am so sorry to hear you could get any sleep. It really wears you down mentally and physically. I wish I had a great idea that would help you. You are very knowledgeable so I am sure you have tried everything.

Going on the last three nights I think I can join this club. Seroquel seems to put me to sleep for around three hours then I struggle to get back to sleep as I wake in a panic and struggle to calm down enough to sleep more. At least I am getting 3 hours sleep, and sometimes more. I have struggled with insomnia all my life. It comes in waves. It just seems a pointless thing for my brain to do (or not do). It is early days so I am not desperately sleep deprived like many of you are. As much as I love you guys I think I would rather exit the club soon.

I was really tired last night so I happily went to bed hoping for a long sleep. Here I am 2.5 hours later wide awake.

Sorry for anyone else that's awake at Thurs time too. We'll get through this somehow.

It's after midnight and I'm totally wound up from work. It's going to be a while. I also took some melatonin - I'm unsure if that really works but might as well try

Well dang how'd I miss this thread?

I'm definitely a member, hope ya don't mind I picked up 4 stars?

The ambien didn't help me sleep at all but it does seem to relax me or something cause my bed isn't so hard. So I stay in bed, I toss and turn less too. Keeping my eyes closed( with the help of my sleep mask) seems to help too, my eyes aren't falling out of my head. The older I get the harder on my body this insomnia is.

Up all night last night - pdoc is having a fit - saw him today. He increased my seroquel. Hopefully this is just a temporary patch.

I pretty much collapsed this afternoon after the insurance fiasco and got some sleep.

I will try to get more sleep tonight but it’s doubtful.

It's time to turn off all the toys and take my book to bed. Hope, every night I hope to sleep,....am I insane for trying to do the same thing every night?

No ... not insane at all. My husband 98%of the time , goes to bed, scrolls Facebook for a few mins. Puts it down and he’s asleep in 1-2 mins. He has a semi regular bedtime and he is setting alarm to get up 6-7 am. It mostly works for him.

People like us??? Well we can try our best to find a night “routine “ for sleep but with life long chronic insomnia it’s just an enormous struggle that we might sleep well for a few weeks maybe longer but it doesn’t last long.

I was maybe 6-7 years old and my mom found me awake in the middle of the night, by today’s standards I got a “ beating “ but after that anytime I heard a noise I’d literally play dead. My sleep was always poor.

So when your a child and have insomnia it’s very likely you will never sleep “ normally” and pile Bipolar or other illness into the mix ? Yeah suckville

I hope it’s a enjoyable book
