Welcome back! I'm glad things are going better.

What are you drawing?

I definitely haven't felt well but not as sick as you were. Mostly I'm just extremely tired and cold. I can't really nap but I feel like I could sleep all day.

I can see church online but I miss the people and getting out of my house. I've really only been out for therapy, pdoc and a couple trips to the store. I think my small group is off for the next few weeks so I've got time to recover before that. I want to take a class that lets me volunteer but am holding off until March for that.

It will be ok. I had spinach today so green leafy vegetables are my next addition for the next 3 days. Vegetables are amazing. Color and taste and texture. I've been waiting a long time.

Now if I could just get the pizza I crave so much...

I had to do a liquid diet for about 2.5 weeks in my 20’s, I had multiple ulcers.. when you talk about how amazing the vegetables taste and texture I know what your saying.

Enjoy every bite

Weighed myself today. Down another pound. I've reached my first goal. Now just not to gain it back. I still have like 37lbs to go for my ideal, but my realistic is now 7lbs to go.

Thing is, I'm back to my regular diet mostly, but hubby brought this platter for us for the past few days and in it was salad and hummus. I was primarily eating low carb high fat and high protein. The ideal diet. But I hate making salads on my own, plus they never seem to stay as fresh and I also won't have hummus. I dunno. I just fear going back to poor diet because I'm both lazy and can't always get out for fresh produce when necessary. Well, let's see.

When I was writing the post, I'd thought: I hope she cannot smell this excellent pizza I am eating !!! True story!! You are a psychic!!! ;

I worked out some administrative and self-care problems. Washing my hair at the sink is sure a lot easier than showering. Mood is still mildly depressed but with the messy wet snow today it's not a surprise. Only five more days left in January! Yay!

Hugs to all who need them!

I’m glad you found solutions. I can’t believe how fast this month has gone by !

I have always washed my hair in the sink , I was brought up that way.. we had a well so my parents were always about saving water.

Every blue moon I might occasionally wash mine in the shower but it takes too long, plus I shower every single day but it’s not healthy to wash your hair daily, (I just wind it up in a clip ) unless I’m outside sweating dirty I was my hair twice a week , it’s so thick it takes all day to dry and I won’t blow dry it , if I do I’d look like a poodle LOL

I have to get 2 teeth pulled because my insurance denied the request from my dentist for root canals, so I'll schedule that tomorrow. Frustrated about it but it is my own fault, the years I was bulimic really caused a lot of damage to my teeth. Thankfully they're teeth in the back. I have an infection in one I'm on antibiotics for right now. Think I have like 5 more days left of taking them.

Hope everyone is doing okay and has a good week
An infected tooth can be so very painful!

I think it is a crime that people cannot get decent dental care for very reasonable prices. I also feel Medicare and Medicaid should also offer this service as well! I am saddened you are without dental care.

Are you able to find enough to eat through community meals? Don't you get hungry in between meals, esp btw dinner and breakfast? Maybe you go to meals for dinner only?

I hope you don't mind my questions. I hope to understand more about what your life is like. I feel you are a very strong person! Yet, even the strongest can get weary.

I hope we can support you in ways most helpful to you!?

Much Love!

Pdoc at 3:30 today. I’m looking forward to it. It’s been a rough month+. I have not been stable.

I’m going to set up an appointment with a therapists or clinician too. I’ve tried in the past and it didn’t really help, but it’s been ages and I’m ready to give it another try.

There’s a place near here that serves breakfast and lunch. And a place right a cross the street from there that serves dinners. Also, one of the places gives out sandwiches 24/7 so if you want you can stop by and ask for sandwiches and they’ll give you a paper bag with a couple sandwiches made with lunch meat and some condiments. I’m lucky to live where I do, there’s lots of resources for people struggling

Okay Ladies and Gents ....no sleep, again.

But I have found a wonderful word that applies to me and how I see things.

***** Nonsensical *****

giddykitty, I have always found that setting interim goals worked best for me, rather than looking at a much larger total goal. The fact is, smaller amounts are bigger than many think. For example, when you lose 5 lbs, you're basically removing the weight of a brand new bag of flour. That's a lot!

whatever2013, I sometimes wash my hair and not my body and vice versa. It's not so much for saving water, in my case, but it makes the task seem less intimidating. Like Christina, I don't think my hair should be washed daily, or even every other day, unless I sweat a lot. My hair doesn't look greasy very easily. Of course there does come the time when it truly looks like it needs it, then I have good motivation to rectify that.

yellow_fleurs, it is nice to see you back. Like the others wrote, there is never a requirement to read and respond to a lot of people, if you can't. Sometimes I respond much more often than other times. Sometimes I just pick one post to respond to. When I'm in those states, I try to vary who I respond to.

Blue_Bird, my husband is in a position where he's not getting two teeth fixed. One of his molars is just 1/2 (the other half fell out), and another is cracked. They stopped hurting, so he's going to leave them as is, for now. He's thinking about traveling to Europe to get them done. His friend in his native country is a dentist. They don't charge even close to what dentists charge in the US.

Jester's Rags, I hope you have a good psychiatrist appointment this afternoon. As for therapists, there are ones out there that you would probably like. It is tough finding them, sometimes. I had to try a number before I found a good fit. Then I sort of figured out how to find other good ones, more easily.

Christina, I'm sorry you're still having issues with your sleep. I don't see you as nonsensical. You seem sensible and rational to me, with oodles of substance!

I’m so excited you are able to move, daunting thought but once your moved in I’m sure the cheaper rent will make life a bit easier.

So sorry about your teeth and insurance denial. That’s just awful. I am glad you got on antibiotics tho, dental infections can quickly spread into your whole body, especially the heart.

I hope things settle down soon
Thanks Christina! Yes, the cheaper rent will really relieve my financial struggles thankfully.

I hope you're doing well

Okay I follow a page on Facebook that allows people to post crazy or interesting things they find in thrift stores. Oh damn Ya’ll it’s hilarious. There are thousands of people, from all around the world.

Well every one started a “ find a house Hippo” I want one so bad ! It’s any kind of Hippos ... glass, ceramic , medal etc etc.

Today some one posted a hippo , a gray shiny ceramic socute!!! she had him all set and wearing the seat belt. I’m literally dying !!!

Maybe I can go hunting for one , some people find one for a dollar or two or 50+ , I want a dollar one of course lol !

It’s just a really cool page, people find the wacky crazy clothes , today someone modeled a adult onesie, the material was solid candy corn print 7 dollars yes they bought it hahah

Lots of scary pictures or dolls etc

Fun page

So, I'm definitely oversleeping again, but in my defense I woke up several times in the night and I was also trying to sleep through my husband's work (he's on call and works on the computer and sometimes has to take calls). Anyway, I mean I had an excuse with the Nyquil the past few days, but I didn't take it last night. I dunno. I'm still a little sick, but I fear I'm gonna get lectured again about too much sleep if this doesn't fix soon.
Right, so it's now after 2pm and I need to have breakfast and take my meds. Bleh!
