Sorry to hear of your travails, Miss L. I have had various headaches throughout my life (migraine, nasal, cluster), and one thing that has really helped the muscle based one is Diclofenac. They don't do the oral version anymore, but there is an over the counter gel you can get called Voltaren. It might be worth a go.

I hope that you improve soon.
