Me: Besides bipolar... GAD, ADHD, familial hypercholesterolemia, and lower esophageal sphincter (aka upper stomach sphincter ) inflammation. I was diagnosed with OCD in the past, but who knows these days. Also, my therapist suspects Asperger's/HFA.
I think my GAD and bipolar feed off each other sometimes, since my GAD can exacerbate mood episodes. At the same time, bipolar can trigger my anxiety to extreme levels. My physical health conditions do not interact with anything. Just that sometimes my sphincter inflammation is bothersome and can make me more miserable if I am in an episode. |

Definitely permanent or current:
Bipolar type 1 disorder, hypothyroidism, mild kidney damage, mitral valve prolapse (heart), cervical polyps, ovarian cysts (unless they've since disappeared on their own), and genital herpes (Oh well!). I also have some anxiety challenges, but no formal diagnosis for them, though once a hospital assigned the GAD code along with my bp. All but the bipolar disorder are managed very well. I do have high cholesterol and triglycerides, but I hope to someday change that. Not definitive Epilepsy (simple partial seizures) and a history of alcohol abuse (I have the history, but it doesn't seem to be pure alcoholism. It's not currently a problem.) If I do have epilepsy, it's managed well by my Tegretol. I do not want to ever stop an anticonvulsant moodstabilizer. I've had other mental health and physical conditions, but they are seemingly resolved. I do have issues with sinusitis at times during the year. I take a medication for tachycardia, but it is well controlled. I'm not sure how much of that was anxiety, my mitral valve prolapse, or an old medication. Schizoaffective, PTSD, scoliosis, asthma, diabetes insipidus, and possibly ADHD. My doc isn't sure if my symptoms are ADHD or cognitive symptoms of schizoaffective, and neither am I. Having PTSD and schizoaffective is rough because one of my main symptoms of sza is paranoia and of PTSD is hypervigilance so they kinda multiply and I'm always watching my back no matter how much I just want to relax.

I have Schizoaffective Disorder Bipolar Type, Panic Disorder, and in recovery from Bulimia.
My anxiety tends to make my eating disorder symptoms worse because if I feel like if I can't control certain things then the one thing I can control is how much I eat, which results in restricting.. But I just made it to a year in recovery this month so I'm doing much better with that. I'm not really sure how the rest interact, I mean my anxiety and panic can be present within each disorder and make the various symptoms worse such as mood.. My paranoid delusions can feed into my agoraphobic tendencies. My therapist is also wondering if I might also have OCD. I have no physical conditions other than silent GERD which doesn't interact with any of my mental health issues __________________ R.I.P mom 8/6/55-1/15/16 “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” -St. Francis of Assisi

I have high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, fatty liver disease, cirrhosis, food allergies (seafood), high blood pressure. Not sure what else, but that's more than enough! I think Zyprexa started a cascade of liver damage and Seroquel isn't far behind with that. (I still take Seroquel.) Its enough to depress me! But I'm eating less and exercising so hopefully things will get better.

In addition to Bipolar 1- dx'ed with CPTSD. Thanks to Seroquel, I am pre-diabetic, have high cholesterol, and high blood pressure.

1). Depression
2). PTSD 3). Anxiety My mental health gets triggered when I’m experiencing my chronic illness “flares.” The pain severity of my Fibromyalgia gets very intense. Weather, foods (allergies/intolerances) , stress and environmental toxics. 4). Hashimoto 5). Fibromyalgia 6). Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria 7). Idiopathic Angioedema 8). Atopic dermatitis 9). Asthma 10). Gluten sensitivity 11). Allergic to latex, COFLEX wrap and elastic. By far my autoimmune medical Illnesses constantly flare and keep me seeking knowledge to be my own practitioner. I’ve learned over these years of being misdiagnosed, experiencing medical mismanagement and medical gaslighting. Most people that “live” with illnesses are more knowledgeable than healthcare workers and mental health providers. Providers read books attempting to gain insight which is not the same as experiencing illnesses first hand and living with them everyday. I constantly have to be my best advocate because the systems are set up to push pharmaceuticals for everything. I advocate for providers to be apart of my healthcare team. I do not seek a dictator rather a partnership based on boundaries. I will allow providers to give their opinions but I ask require documentation and science based evidence. Then I will research their suggestion and notify them of my answers....consultation is not consent. __________________ #SpoonieStrong Spoons are a visual representation used as a unit of measure to quantify how much energy individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses have throughout a given day. 1). On my charts I have written down: autism spectrum disorder, depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, some type of anxiety disorder, and gender dysphoria disorder.
I know I had/have PMDD. There’s for sure some disordered thinking when it comes to food and weight but I don’t think it would qualify as an ED. There’s some sleep stuff going on for sure. I’m pretty healthy physically except for some very slight kidney damage from Lithium. __________________ Ridin' with Biden |

My current diagnoses are;
Bipolar 1 with psychotic features PTSD ADHD Fibromyalgia Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Hyperthyroidism (I think, otherwise hypo...it's from the Lithium) My mental and physical health issues feed off each other. A bad PTSD or Bipolar episode can set me back physically for months, or longer and suffering chronic pain and exhaustion that cripples me can feed into depression. Right now I am mentally stable, but my physical illnesses are bad. I am often in severe pain and worse, am so exhausted I can barely leave my flat. This isolates me and makes most enjoyable activities impossible so despair creeps in at times. This flare-up has been going on for five months and I am only slightly better at the moment. Thankfully, I have avoided any mental health problems so at least I don't have that to battle as well. __________________ Bipolar 1 with psychotic features PTSD "Phew!
