Yay for being whole again! I hope those pain meds do the trick. And I'm glad youre getting rest. You went through TWO surgeries!

I walked earlier. I felt like I'd run a marathon when it was over, but I did walk

I'm a lot better at the moment, but I've had some bad news. I've pooped many times today, which is great, because it means my innards are working again.
Now the bad news. Mom is now hospitalized in another hospital. She has pneumonia and sepsis. That's scary. She fought dad for way too long on needed to be checked out. He said today she didn't have a choice. |

If it goes well when I get solid food later today, I should get to go home tomorrow

Eleven days post surgery and I'm finally able to move without it being a horror show. I quit pain meds yesterday and switched back to a kratom regimen. I now feel much more human. That first caffeine today in two weeks was crazy. Googly eyes and spinning. But it also slowed my heart rate a bit. I know that's backwards but whatever.
I'm having a problem with one of the staples. It's pulled through the skin and left a circular hole. The surgeon was called and said that he will try to get me in tomorrow instead of Tuesday and to keep it covered. We have to change the bandaging on it several times a day because it oozes. It doesn't quite look infected. But it does worry me. I'm going back to sleep |
