e.g., Maybe you dyed your hair, stay in pajamas all day, write something, etc..
--- Me: stayed in my pajamas all day. lol. I also bought a bike to get more exercise, but now I have two because my other bike is too big for my mom. |

Nothing that cool or interesting, I'm afraid. I did trim my own bangs, and am reasonably happy with the result. Hubby and I have worked on various projects. The garden-related ones were the most pleasant, but I wouldn't say interesting/cool. If the hair salons don't open again for several weeks, I might consider dying my hair, but it won't be a wild color. I can see the grays coming at my roots, but they're not that unsightly yet. I dyed my hair a few times in my 20s. Always copper or auburn.
Well, when it comes to my cooking, I did make a couple things for the first time. I made my first Indian (India) meal, a chicken vegetable curry. I also made beef korma kebabs, and also caramelized banana ice cream (a great way to use ripe bananas when you're sick of banana bread/muffins). Though I have made bread many times in the past, I made my first one in a Dutch oven. Plus, I made flour tortillas from scratch. Also minestrone and kulajda (Czech) soups. All tasted marvelous! Other new recipes were really good, too, but not vastly different than ones I had made in the past. I love to cook and bake. Making new things is not out of the ordinary for me. I have watched maybe 30 or so different thrillers/suspense movies, some, pretty darn good. Some, terrible. It is interesting how often mental illness seems to come up in this genre in films made in the last ten years or so.

Started an Instagram.......just editing old photos for the most part....but I love photography and have not been able to go out and take pics.
Taking classes online too, so in a couple of years I’ll have a new career path. __________________ Hugs! |

I made sourdough bread (I"m not a baker) and I even made the starter from scratch. I also started a garden.

Decluttered my house some, painted my toenails various colors, trimmed my own bangs, read up on how astronauts handle isolation, and made movie night more fun with making popcorn from scratch in the microwave using popcorn kernels added to a bowl that allows kernels to pop in microwave. Then added popcorn seasoning salt in butter flavor, and added m and m’s to popcorn, and drank soda in a cup with a straw, with using a TV tray next to me to simulate being at the movies.

Yes, I just ordered a large jar (the kind you use for jam but much larger) so I can make more starter, store it and try to keep it alive in the fridge. I'm going to see if I can make a better batch next week (it takes 5 days to make the starter and 2 days to make the bread - such a process but fun).

My daughter wined me so I'm gonna be looking for easy pictures to paint. I planted flowers the other day but mostly I read. My library is by appointment only but I can request books so I'm back to reading the 20 books by a Minnesota author. When I finish that I thought I'd read the ABCs books. I've read some of the later ones but not the early ones. I'd like to start with A and go through the alphabet. There will never be a Z but there's 25 books in her series.
