I woke up at 1 with the same empty dread feeling I’ve been getting. I don’t feel like going back to sleep.

I'm almost shocked too (in a good way ) that you're getting so much sleep and that the seroquel is helping to sleep for 9 to 10 hours (16 hours yikes, I think I remember sleeping for that long too when I first took seroquel). I'm not sure what dose you're taking (no need to tell me, I'm just curious since I took Seroquel for a while)

Hugs and love

Hey Fuzzy I am on 100mg Seroquel 3 times a day. I have no excess hunger which is shocking and the amount of sleep I am still able to get is surprising, Usually things just quit on me after only a short while.

Hope your getting some good sleep

I woke up at 10:00 but in a good mood. Now 3 hours later my moods have dipped and I’m a bit anxious. I might go get a caffeine free Coke.

I took three 5 milligram fast acting extended release melatonin so I could sleep. I have a huge issue with otc stuff and yeah benzos. This is why I’m so anti pain meds.

My doctor started me on remoron. I don’t know if I want to take it or not after hearing all the weight gain horror stories.

Did he prescribe it for anxiety?

I took the remeron and I woke up off and on. Now I’m awake but pretty groggy and my stomach is a mess with nausea and my vision is super blurry. I’m on 7.5 milligrams once a day. So far it’s doing like same stuff as the melatonin. Hopefully it helps with my moods and anxiety during the day.

I was having some odd dreams about nachos.

I slept for 3 hours and now am wide awake at 2am. That seems to be my sleep pattern lately!

I still haven’t fallen asleep. I did eat a ton tonight. I think I’ll just lie and say I’m taking the remeron but I really won’t. I can’t deal with this type of hunger and I am usually asleep by now. Not sure it’s worth it.

I slept for 22 minutes last night. 22 minutes. We’re backing me off one AD and doubling the Sonata. I’m about to go to bed now and hope to sleep. At the height of my breakdown I was easily sleeping 18 hour days. Oh to have just one of those days or some good long naps.

Best wishes to everyone for restorative sleep.

I only slept 4 hours. It is now 5:57 am. Hubby is still snoring away. I don't think this is exactly hypomania (maybe a little). More anxious excitement.

Jennifer, I hope you managed to clock more sleep hours tonight.

It took me hours to fall asleep. I finally got to sleep around 11:30. I guess the doctor was wrong when he said the new med would help with sleep. So far it just seems to be making everything worse.

Well Lousy sleep last night, Flip flop, waking up every 45 mins, I dont think the seroquel has stopped the sleep side effect. I just had far to many PTSD nightmares last night.

Hope everyone can get some great sleep tonight

I didn’t take my Wellbutrin yesterday and I slept well. I mistakenly took it today and I’m wide awake with heavy sleep medicine and two sleeping pills. That’s actually great news! Tonight will be long but at least now I know what the problem is. I’ll quit Wellbutrin with my NP’s approval.

I hope everyone gets a restorative sleep.
