I have laughed today! I handed in a work project and got kudos! Hasn't happened in SO long. It felt great! My kids make me smile a lot.

Do you like to have air conditioning on? Due to heat or allergies?

I have it on right now. It's mostly the heat that I hate. I am not meant to be living in hot climates. Though my state gets cold winters, the summers can get ultra hot and humid. If I am out too much exercising in high heat and humidity, I feel faint and/or get heat rash easily. I'm happiest in temps between 58 F and 78 F (14 C and 26 C). I also have issues with sinusitis, but being in air conditioning doesn't do that much extra good. I'm used to the sinusitis, unless it becomes very severe.

Q: Have you ever gone skiing or snowboarding? If so, where?

I've skied poorly at Mt Wachusett, a little hill near me. I've got a record somewhere from my youth of hitting my head the most times getting off the ski-lift and being sledded off the mountain. Humiliating!

Have you been water-skiing? If so where?

I grew up skiing a million times a year on Mt. Hood. Happy memories.

Favorite comedian?

I'm partial to Dane Cook, and his old Karen routine. Everyone has a Karen.

An extra, unexpected paycheck in 1992. Yeah!

Do you like mysteries and thrillers?

I love them. My favorite author is Robert B Parker, a Boston-based author who has a great sleuth named Spenser. He passed a few years ago but now other authors continue his craft.

What book has had the most profound effect upon you?

yes. I am christian.

do you find it easier talking to a certain age group or a certain gender or do you find you can open up to anyone in the same way (it's easier for me to speak to women, for example)

It varies I guess

Are you working on becoming more tolerant.. or maybe the opposite? As in I think I have tolerated too much bs and worse from some at times (mostly long ago)

You and I, I think we are a similar type of bear. I think I'm probably already too tolerant. I question my place in Black Lives Matter. I wonder if I should have joined protests, but I support the police. Am I a bad man for wanting to support both? Am I racist? I don't know. I want to be less tolerant of bad things, but it makes me feel less me, if that makes sense.

What is your strongest belief?

I wouldn't say I'm a major fan, but I did like some movies with martial arts. I really enjoyed "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon". That's a great movie with a great director (Ang Li) and cast members (Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi)! I suppose I like the ones that have some interesting story line with it. If it's just a bunch of kicking and punching, especially with delays in the lip sychronization, I'm not as fond.

Q: What has been (present or past) your favorite form of exercise?
