Soooo
I thought this might be a good idea for my old friends who have no idea what's been happening, so we can play catch up, and even for members idk, if you're so inclined to read my boring life story.... So quick recap, eldest brother and father died, I was dxd and that's basically what initially brought me to PC. Fast forward >>>>> 2016 my mom is dxd with breast cancer in January, by December after all her chemo she is dxd with dementia. My close friends Ashley died that year July just before my birthday in a Motorcycle accident. 2017 My bf relocates to Helsinki, coz a cushy job is better than sticking it out with me. 2018 I'm put on disability because I got so manic I went to work in a tiara, locked myself up in my office blasting Alanis Morrisette and "fired" my boss. (He and I are still friendly tho lol) 2019 up until now, I have not worked, but have been doing Learnerships whereby I get to learn basic business practice and get paid a stipend for doing so. In that time frame I hooked up with a friend of mine, but since he was technically my brother's friend first, a whole drama series exploded in my face, I accidentally got myself unconscious for 2 days (will spare u the deets due to triggers, let just say my tendon is now screwed) Wagner and I didn't work out because of drama and neither of us being prepared for how intimate things got (it was supposed to be harmless fun) and so he went back to his GF. Fast forward >>>> Today, I have a borderline senile mother who asks permission to eat or put on the light... Is scared of her TV because the people are watching her. A brother who is prone to rage outbursts after his head injury from a motorcycle accident, and I'm a single mom trying to give my 16 year old daughter some semblance of normalcy. So that's me in a not so tiny nutshell. How have you guys all been doing? Chris that includes you even if u do text me. That has been one hell of a ride, Trippin. So sorry for your many losses and the current challenges you are facing at home and in life. You certainly have your hands full. You should probably avoid motorcycles from now on...
I am openly and freely admitting I did laugh fairly vigorously at the tiara story, sorry. If we can't laugh at these things, well. i guess we would have to cry. I have done so many things very similar to that that I literally cannot even remember them all. Anyway, welcome back. Sending you strength. __________________ When I was a kid, my parents moved a lot, but I always found them--Rodney Dangerfield |

Wow, trippin', I'm sorry you have so much on your plate. BTW I can't believe your Daughter's 16 now. Miguel turned 18 and announced today he's planing on moving out. The logistics are still up in the air. I'm trying to find hobbies. H and I are still married. writing/reading is difficult right now for me but I am still around. Nice to have you back.

Wow, you have really been through the wringer, Trippin!! You are one seriously strong lady!! I'm so sorry all those hard things happened to you. And for the things you are still having to deal with.
There's not terribly much to tell over here. I broke it off with my BF coming up on two years ago (quite the story in itself), and have been living in a room in a nice old house in a better neighborhood. I've been told by both my landlady and roommate that I've come a long way. Have spent a lot of time getting back to myself and doing things that had fallen by the wayside. Joined a few meetups to get myself out of the house so I don't hermit-out. Though that's not been nearly the same thanks to the Thing. I've been the most stable for the longest stretch I can even remember. Blips here and there, but I'm not going to sweat those. (BF has been back in my life via a rather circuitous route. We hang out, but are not living together. Again, a whole other story.) __________________ ********* Mr. Robot Makes me sick to the heart, Oh I feel so tired. Like "mommy I want to eat my feeties with a foon peace man' Bwahahaaaaa I guess its my way of coping with the fact that she's a full blown teenager, and not to be the typical mother, but I do own bragging rights. I was a terrible teenager, I got up to most shyt parents don't want their kids getting up to... And here's Jordan, she doesn't drink doesn't smoke, doesn't date because she's focusing on school. And when she does step out of line, or want to wear that crop top, or whatever it is that makes me remember she's not 6 years old, I have to remind myself of what I was like at that age. All emo with clothing my dad joked should be half price because there was so little material used to make it. Hehe Best of all, she shares with me, we talk about her feelings, struggles, and giggle about her crushes and fawn over her TikTok crushes. Sorry I didn't mean to go on and on and on. My point was, I hear you, but I've accepted my 16 year old, is 16 years old.... but it's so damn harrrrrd. Wow, you have certainly been through a lot!
Sorry to hear about your mother's dementia. It must be difficult to cope with that when you have so many other things going on in your life. I had a great uncle with Alz as well as a grandmother with BP1 and dementia. It truly is heartbreaking. However, it sounds like your mother is well loved and well cared for, and that's what counts. On the bright side of things, I am glad you're doing what you can to help out your daughter. It sounds like you and her have a special bond. |

Also I'm thinking more along the lines one of those shock stick thingies farmers use on their poor pigs... I'd prefer that to a bat. J's too precious for jerk offs! Welcome back! I thought of you just recently and wondered where you'd gone. How long has it been since you last posted---two, three years? Well, I'm glad you're back, but even though you've certainly been through the ringer, you can always find support here.
So sorry for all your losses. It sounds like you are recovering well, and you're lucky to have such a wonderful daughter. Life can be difficult with a 16 YO, they think they know everything, but yours sounds like an angel. You are truly blessed. __________________ DX: Bipolar 1 Anxiety Tardive dyskinesia Mild cognitive impairment RX: Celexa 20 mg Gabapentin 1200 mg Geodon 40 mg AM, 60 mg PM Klonopin 0.5 mg PRN Lamictal 500 mg Levothyroxine 125 mcg (rx'd for depression) Trazodone 150 mg Zyprexa 7.5 mg Please come visit me @ http://bpnurse.com |
