I regretfully and most respectfully inform them..

it is not to my taste

I do not blame them for not wanting to ''help'' a bear

Hi FuzzyBear. Do you have some idea of the kind of care you do want? If you do, it might be worth doing a search for the right therapy or psychiatrist match for you. I don't know how it works in your neck of the woods, but in the US we often do have a choice.

If you are unsure what kind of help you even need or want, that in itself could be a starting point for therapeutic discussion.

I have a good friend who is consulting a T who she says is the best T she has consulted. I was thinking of talking to this T. Or one who maybe is similar. I don't have many friends in this neck of the woods who have consulted T's they recommend. As I was referred by a GP to a private psychologist (who ended up not to be helpful) I think I might feel more trusting if someone I trust recommends someone. So I'm thinking of this therapist at the moment. But I will have to wait until the new year now. I'm running low on benzos again (and other meds) (my fault) so am more grrrr than usual (or that's part of the reason). Hopefully I'll get a refill in about 2 weeks (I do not have to talk to a doctor for this. They are happy about that and so am I)
