We have been talking about it one here for ages.
Finally a NYT article about it but it covers less and is less nuanced and detailed than what has been discussed on here.

About how hard it is to do hygiene routines during depressive episodes.

Why Is It So Hard to Shower When I’m Depressed? - The New York Times
Why Is It So Hard to Shower When I’m Depressed? - The New York Times (possibly requires a subscription)

Still glad the article has been published.
