I experience traits of BPD.
I’m aware with that there is Sensitivty to rejection and I experience this myself.
I found myself say if someone doesn’t reply to my Facebook message and they have seen it. I feel rejected and hurt and then I worry did I do some thing wrong. Did I hurt there feelings? and then the thought comes in what if they don’t like me?
then at times I feel this hidden anger in me that I do not express that they haven’t reply.
But that’s one of my rejection moments I have notice.

Has anyone else experience some thing similar? Also does anyone have tips to overcome rejection?

Yes I've experienced it. Now I dont care. I fire off messages and texts and it slips my mind. If there is a chance that not getting a reply might affect me, I hit send and then delete it all. Out of site, out of mind and I never need to know they read it.

DBT therapy has been huge for me. I definitely recommend it.

I been doing DBT therapy. Going through the group and the individual therapy. Guess most annoying part is we have one person in the group therapy that just keeps talking and talking so everything gets side track and well no one knows what to do for home work. I told my individual therapist this and told me that I’m not the only one that has mention this to her. Because I think her other clients go to my group but see her as therapist. Really frustrating.

It’s Dialectical behavior therapy. It helps you to emotionally regulate yourself in a helpful way. Also to live a life worth living.
