Since I have bpd i guess I'll put it here but not sure if its the right place for it .

I can't be certain but I think I've been hearing voices every night for the last week . the reason I say I can't be certain is because its always when I'm nearly asleep . so maybe its a dream and I'm tricking myself . mostly its a man's voice and get keeps saying my name. He says other stuff to but I don't catch that just my name because its very clear . I keep thinking its a ghost and that hr is reading my mind . things have happened like this years ago but I was convinced it was ghosts and again it was always when I was almost asleep . should I mention any of this to anyone ? Maybe my mh is getting worse . I don't know. I'm certainly struggling

What does mh stand for?
I would check it up with my psych if I hear a voice repeatedly.
They know by asking you questions what could be the cause depending on where you hear the voice, in or outside your head , the circumstances surrounding your perceptions as you mentioned. While being sleepy and so forth.
It doesn’t have to be something serious but you will feel a little calmer once you check it up.

I too have been hearing voices recently, even when fully awake. It got so bad I went to see my pdoc (whom I greatly dislike) and he wouldn't even believe me. I then went to the local hospital as I wasn't feeling safe. They were being really good about it until they say "Borderline Personality Disorder" written in my file. They instantly changed and soon discharged me with no follow up.
BPD still has such a stigma here. We're only seen as attention seeking or manipulating.
I hope you get a better outcome.

Yes stigma is alive and well. ONLY see DBT trained therapists. After 31 years in therapy with the others it is a waste of time. Again only talk to DBT trained therapists.

Only talk to DBT trained therapists? Not sure how that would work

It's a huge shame that the N - S does not provide such services for more intense mental health conditions. Its bizarre to me.. It's meant to be one of the best national medical health services in the world if i'm not mistaken... One would assume that they do.. Its super frustrating. Basically one has to seek specialized therapies privately.. SO that's basically saying F*YOU to people who can't afford it...

In my country its a trillion times worse.. i can't even begin to get into how horrendous it is for MH.
