I thought my last BF/Fiance had DID/Multiple Personality Disorder. But in watching videos online to decided if I agree with my last Psych whom diagnosed me with BPD(I hadn't agreed), I saw the description of being able to disassociate , and a lightbulb went off. That's what he was doing. He scared me a lot. But he follows basically ALL of the Main descriptive characteristics for BPD. It's a wake up call. But he is a walking criminal disaster drug/alcoholic addict. I just cannot handle being in his life. He stole a bunch of money from me! He thinks I should blindly follow him, and cannot compromise, and he won't admit to the theft. It's all about getting drugs as often as he can. The second to the last message I sent was, :I will talk to you when it is confirmed you are in detox.

Sigh....
