Hello, I am new to this whole process, I have always had the need for relationships and have been in quite a few toxic ones that have not satisfied the constant feeling of emptiness. Lately, I've been feeling as though I am a let down to my entire family, I have recently had a restraining order filed against me and have been dealing with a lot of court stuff. I have a girlfriend now that I believe isn't toxic for me, but late last night I was taking her home and my father told me to be home by a certain time. I stayed longer and rushed home while rushing I was speeding and got pulled over and received a traffic ticket. This made my whole world crumble and last night I had a depressive episode saying that it would be better off for my family if I had never been born. Things are just weighing down on me and I'm not sure what to do about it... Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi there and welcome. Do you have a therapist or counselor you can talk your emotions over with? I sympathize entirely with the tornado of emotion you are dealing with right now. Hang in there. It IS possible to learn how to control those currently out-of-control thoughts and feelings. Takes a lot of time, hard work, and a really good therapist, but there IS hope.
