Hi,
Last few days I've been feeling not myself lately. I personally believe that it's because I've been pick and choosing what medication i take. I was wanting to see if anyone takes these medications either together or separately, and how it effects your bpd. I'm taking depakote, seroquel, amitripylne. |

I just want to let you know I read your post.
It's best to take your medications as prescribed rather than messing around with them. Dissociation is also a symptom of BPD. I don't think any medication helps with this. I learned how to ground myself in the here and now, and how to tolerate negative emotions, and that helped decrease my dissociation symptoms. I still have some episodes when I'm very, very upset but not nearly as often as i used to. Best of luck to you! I hope things have improved since you posted. __________________ "I would rather have questions that can't be answered than answers which can't be questioned." --Richard Feynman |

I agree you should take your medication as prescribed. My medication helps me. I have Bipolar I as well.

Good for you in being successful in managing these emotions and less dissociation. That is my goal.
