I’ve been in treatment with my therapist and pdoc for a while, and have never been told my diagnosis. Today. I got brave and asked. I was diagnosed as bipolar and bpd. I suspected it as the term was thrown around a lot when I first started treatment. I sort of regret asking. I’ve felt really poorly since hearing the words borderline personality disorder. I feel like I’m an official lost cause.

you are not a lost cause

maybe it will take a while to accept the diagnoses (it can be a bit of a shock to some), but you're not a lost cause. their is lots of support here and I hope you decide to stick around
