I read that people with BPD have problems changing their minds a lot. That may not be the case for all BPD but that's me! It's tiring, I like studying things in detail to make good decisions but I don't like being a perfectionist.

Anyhow hopefully I don't drive my psychologist crazy. I've never seen a therapist. Made an appointment with a less expensive MFT therapist for tomorrow, but I can't stop thinking about this amazing $200 per session PhD psychologist who specializes in crazy people like me. I'm not referring to BPD people as being crazy because they're not. I'm just crazy. After talking to her, she can do $150 / week. Probably feels sorry for me. So that it, I'm going to her.

Sorry for the rant. ...

For me, the price on therapy hasn't meant much. I've seen everything from social workers up to psychiatrists, and all in between. I hope you are able to build a good relationship with whomever you choose to see, and you are able to gain clarity on what you want to work on.

I hope you will gain clarity on what you want to work on. I also think the price often is no reflection on the quality of the therapist.

The worst (and actually harmful) T I've ever had was the one I paid dearly for. The 2 most outstanding T's I've had were free.
