Hi all,

I'm really struggling with this coronavirus lockdown. I'm struggling as usual with my BPD symptoms anyway but this is making me anxious and panicky -

In normal life, I try to stay at home where I can in order to feel safe, and my claustrophobia isn't much of a problem because I know I CAN leave of I need to.

But now i know I can't leave, my claustrophobia is really bad (especially with the of us in a house together) - and opposite that is my irrational fear that if i DO leave the house I'm going to get infected, kill my family and die.

Is anyone else feeling like this?

Dear SunflowerWannabe,

I am so very, very sorry that you are suffering. What you write of is something I can totally relate to. I am going through the same thoughts and emotions that you described.

These days I can just go for little walks around my house. With everything going on, I feel distress and am grieving the loss of what used to be my everyday life. I hope you will be okay. It is awful that you are suffering! Wish I knew what to say that would help.

My heart goes out to you!

Sincerely yours, -- Yao Wen
