Default For chat announcements

Our chat rooms (see the "Chat" menu in gray near the top of the screen under the main navigation menu) are for people to congregate in, share stories, and offer support to one another in real-time. It's an alternative way to gain emotional support and help from our community.

We also hold regularly scheduled peer-to-peer chats. These chats are not supervised or run by professionals, but rather other members just like you who've volunteered to help do so.

Sometimes the chat leader volunteer will have to cancel a weekly scheduled chat, or some other change will be made to our chat calendar (see the "Calendar" link in the forums navigation bar above).

This forum is for those changes and announcements. They will no longer be posted elsewhere on the site. If you're uncertain about whether a chat is occurring, you can check here to see if there is an announcement related to the chat.

Hope this helps!

Thank you,
DocJohn
