Does anyone have any good (self-help) book recommendations on how to "reparent" yourself or do inner child work? I've decided to give these concepts of reparenting and inner child work a try, instead of trying to get all of my previously unmet childhood needs met by using external sources (I get attached to women who are slightly older than me and want them to adopt me and take care of me and essentially be the emotionally nurturing mom I never had and I fantasize about them doing those things, etc.... but it's never enough, so maybe I need to start taking care of my own inner child...?)
