It's ok to feel the way you do. A lot of people like to rewrite history and live in denial because it's easier than confronting the truth. It's ok to not miss him or feel sad. I support you. 💜

I’ve thought this too. Rewriting history and living in denial is much easier.

I can relate to the pressure from society to be with family who abuse you... and pretend everything is just fine. I understand that very well and I can only imagine the loneliness and complex feelings of grief you are experiencing. When the time comes... I will be facing these same difficult emotions as you. Grief after death of abusive parent
