I think it would be nice, particularly in this forum, if we could all work together and support each other. I think it can be amazing how much better people can feel if being collaborative with all. “Collaborative” therapy might also be more helpful... I wish I’d known that years ago before I was retraumatised in therapy. (For years ... not ideal for someone with CPTSD and a survivor of CEN.) Sigh....... just a thought.

A question. Please humour me and respond to this, someone

Has anyone found “person centred therapy” helpful who has been abused and neglected in childhood and beyond?

I wish for peace and healing for all, whatever that may mean to each person. In light and love...

This is a wonderful idea Fuzzy.

Lets make this thread the go to place for people working together....

I have never had person centred therapy...
It sounds to me like it makes a perfect base for all therapy to be conducted
If only.....

Love, hugs, peace and healing to you

I actually found my DBT group to be the best therapy. Learning skills to help me with me struggle areas I never learned growing up. That being said.....it was actually a group & we worked together helping each other see things in ways we didn't quite grasp. So "collaborative" is an important aspect of therapy I think helps greatly.

Also I have developed a wonderful supportive friendships just in my life with amazing people & we have helped each other but I honestly think they have helped me much more than I have ever helped them.

So YES.....Fuzzy, your idea is a wonderful one....something I think we can all get & give great value to loving all your good ideas & thought provoking questions you are one very amazing Fuzzy
