PC members who have an interest in the concept of childhood emotional neglect may be familiar with Dr. Jonice Webb's articles in PC's archives. Just today I happened to run across one of these articles that provides a link to Dr. Webb's CEN questionnaire. Here's a link to Dr. Webb's article in PC's archives:

The Emotional Neglect Questionnaire

I read through the questions & answered yes to all 22 questions. So I presume that would suggest CEN may be something that affected my own life. (Too bad it took so long to find out.) Anyway... if you take the test & would like to do so, record your thoughts regarding the questionnaire, & your results, here.

I did it. So, the higher I score, the more likely it is I have CEN. I scored pretty high and it has led me to begin reflecting and researching more. This is a tough one to be made aware of so suddenly.

Thanks for sharing the questionnaire.

Thanks for checking this little test out, Hitherto. I see this is your first post here on PC. Welcome to Psych Central. May I suggest you introduce yourself to the community as a whole in the New Member Introductions forum? Here's a link:

Best wishes...

@Buffy01 I find the articles on Bing, that I provide links for. (I presume there's something similar on Google.) I simply type "psych central" into my browser's search bar. (I think that's how you would phrase it. I'm not really very computer literate.) Anyway, that takes me to a listing for Psych Central on Bing where there's a search bar I can use to search PC's archives.
