I am sorry to hear that so many of us are feeling so crummy. I can relate especially these past few days. No need to go into details just been feeling under the weather so to speak with really low energy to boot. Anyway, I can relate and wanted to send out some extra healing vibes to my friends that are hurting. Gentle hugs to those that want one.

I am looking forward to doing a whole bunch of nothing this weekend. Since I am no longer allowed to clock more than 40 hours per week I got to leave work at 2PM yesterday. Ran all my errands on the way home so I don't have to go anywhere until I leave for work Monday!

Pain level is down to its usual background noise. Am hoping that resting over the weekend helps with the exhaustion.

Cake, I'd be tempted to wish Ken luck putting the party together himself. Sunny is my new hero!

He cancelled the party not sure why but he has been doing a lot of side jobs and hasn't been home much. I think he is finely tired and having the party would mean he would not be able to do stuff on the 3 day weekend but fir him it's really a 4 day weekend. Plus I haven't been doing to well lately so I think he finely saw that

The pain is so intense in my body, it feels like my mind is trying to escape. I've got a toothache, my stomach hurts, all my joints feel like they're throbbing, I'm so tired but can't sleep. I need a reprieve, bad.

I feel like I'm being punished.

((((Everyone!!))))

Sounds like rest is on the table for most here.
Today I've been pushing the envelope; I started DBT (which I don't like, but running with it). I'm doing "opposite action" and getting out walking or doing things when I really don't want to.
I am also rearranging furniture to accommodate the new a/c unit...
So yesterday I did 4 errands or so plus walking. Today, a walk then painting outside, another walk, and more painting.
Trying to get up off the floor... Rofl!! Using every hand hold I could find and setting up each joint carefully. I had a good laugh at myself, how old I feel at 40.
I know there's totally more I could be doing for myself, but I'll give myself credit also.
Hugs!

For the first time in weeks I'm feeling "normal", well as normal as I ever get.

I took a FOUR hour nap yesterday afternoon. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get to sleep that night. Conked off around 10 and slept nine hours.

Fighting a chest cold which I think I caught through staying in so many hotels. I can't wait until we find a house to rent come August. Anxiety has been high today causing dizziness and a very skippy pulse. I am hoping that I can fall asleep at a decent hour. I hope that everyone is feeling a little better today after what has proven to be a tough week for must of us. GENTLE HUGS.

Many hugs to all of you. I can't believe how many of us are really suffering right now. Maybe it's the change to really hot weather. I don't know.

Liz, I'm so glad you're a bit better! Yay! Mama, I hope your cold gets better and that you find the perfect house to rent.

Gus, I'm so glad you checked in with us. I was starting to really worry about you. Did you get your computer upgraded? Thank you for the beautiful flowers.

My pain level is down to bearable today. I have been doing a little bit of cleaning while I can, and I'm starting to really hurt again, so I need to get back in the recliner and put some heat on my back. Poor Belle thinks we live in the recliner alone! The bed and other recliner are just for show.

They no longer have a voucher program for animals here where I live. They just stopped doing it. I have sent an email to another possible source that might help, but we'll have to see. I called the vet's office. Her surgery will cost $247. It would have cost $50 with the voucher. I have to have it done, so I went ahead and scheduled the appointment. I hate being a grown up sometimes, but the alternative is not so good.

I do have some good news to share with you. I didn't mention it earlier because I was afraid it would all fall through the cracks and come to nothing. I have been asked to sit on the Board of Directors for the clinic where I have my dental work done. They provide medical, dental and psych services to several counties and until I was informed, I had no idea it was such a big operation. Finally, I have a way to give back and help people in my own small way. I wanted to share it with you, my family.

I love you all.

Jan that's wonderful. Call the ASPCA and see if they can do it cheaper. Also reach out to some rescue groups in your area they have arrangements with vets to get sprays and neutering done at a discount. Explain your situation and they might b able to help When we found McGee the feral cat and Foundation told me they could help with the cost of his vet bills. But I wanted to take him to our vet.

Gus i am glad you are here and mama the same to you.

We haven't heard much from Christina I hope she is doing better. The move took a lot out of her.

Kiya hang in there

Liz you are just awsome. You are like the energizer bunny you keep going till you have everything done. I am kinda glad you are only working the 40 hours now just so you can get some rest.

Inwas able to get more then 3-4 hours of sleep last night I got 9 straight hours of sleep. That hasn't happened in a long time.

Take care all

Love you

I have a rant and a few questions for all of you. I went to PT today. I really dislike having a male PT because he does deep tissue massage and it's triggering to be touched, but I grit my teeth and get through it. There is another man who works there who is apparently an assistant and he has always struck me as very odd.

The entire time I was there today he kept talking about sexual conquests to other patients in full, intimate details. He described his partying and sexual fantasies about different celebrities in 3D details, also. These things he shared with the entire room of his coworkers and all the patients there.

On top of that, my therapist and all the others, including the boss participated in the conversations and of course, there were bad words. I couldn't wait to get out the door and away from it all. On top of that, the slimy man came over and with absolutely no warning, stripped my hot packs and TENs stickers off me. I felt like I needed scrubbed with clorox after he touched me.

Is it just me? Is trash talk the new norm in professional settings? I know I'm conservative, but I am just horrified and really dreading walking back in there on Friday. What do you suggest I do?

Ooooh, Jan the situation at PT sounds disgusting! I would report the behavior to whoever is in charge. If the boss participated and the clinic is affiliated with a medical group I'd file a complaint with the corporation.

Cold front moved through today. Pain and exhaustion are back in force.

Thank you, Liz. I need to do or say something. I'll have to find out who the boss's boss is, even if I have to report it to my Pain Specialist.

I'm so sorry you're hurting again and I hope it settles down again very quickly. The weather is crazy here. I'm in full flare again. They did tell me not to lift, pull, bend or twist at all until my back settles down some. That's hard to do when you live by yourself. Belle's not too good at running the vacuum.

Today while I was gone she literally pushed my desk chair to the desk, climbed up and got some things off it. I've found everything but my antibiotic drops for my eyes. She's hidden them somewhere. The bottle is too big for her to swallow, thank God. She also played with my keyboard and set Windows Media Player to record something. It jammed and I couldn't get my computer to work. That girl does love the pretty pictures!
