Had a root canal and my crown on the side filed down. My mouth set off a massive flare and even breathing feels like my body is in an upheaval.

Oh geez. I have to still go back for the permanent filling in the bridge where the root canal was done. I'm not doing so well.

I don't know who belle is.. but I am guessing a cute little baby!

awww babies are cute!. I love them. with all their little toes, and their little fingers, and they are so cuddly... sorry I had to!

little miss Belle is a Jack Russell terrier that was tossed away, and found her way to Jan's doorstep. she is young, in heat, needing spayed, and has many health problems, such as allergies (which is prolly why she was thrown away).

few of us on here talk about kids, since either we don't have any , or they are grown, or we just don't talk about them online. i'm glad you like babies, and glad you don't have to take care of one~! omg, they can be a job o' work~

Okay I saw a new Rheumatologist today for Fibro...... very nice guy which is huge for me. (I cant handle god complex in Docters)

Anyway .. He asked me about my scalp psoriasis since I am on Otezla. He thinks it very possible I have Psoriaitic arthritis... So blood work, dexascan and xrays. He said its possible to have both Fibro with or without PS..."provable" illness, Just so Doctors stop looking at me and hear Fibro and Bipolar and blow off anything I have said.

So yeah .. Im not really thrilled about this, Yet another thing wrong

I see him again in one month.

This is only tangentially related to fibro. Stress aggravates fibro, we all know that. I'm struggling with stress management lately. Got tossed a HUGE bomb today and trying to deal with it.

There is some new person working directly under my program's VP. The VP is known for calling people in his office, handing them a box to pack their things in as he tells them they are fired. We got an email from the new person Friday that she will be coming around to all the sites to "observe" us at work. What that is turning out to mean is that they are looking for people to give the heave-ho. On the plus side, my productivity is ahead of everyone in my program. Not sure how to weigh this, I'm the only person on staff who can do suicide risk assessments. That might be a plus or a minus in the VP's eyes. On the negative side, I've been with the agency for 13.5 years and make more than any of the other counselors. Since, I'm a licensed therapist I also provide more actual counseling than my co-workers who mostly focus on case management. Used to be longevity with a company was a plus. It seems the new management we have is working to force long time employees out the door.

I am trying very hard not to freak out over all of this, but am not doing so well tonight. I know worrying won't have any effect one way or another, but am still worried/freaked. I'm only three years from retirement. I sure as h e l l don't want to try and find a new job at this stage of my life. Folks, I sure could use some hugs.

Shattered and Sanity, it is really good to hear from you. Yes, Belle is a puppy, thanks for asking. I understand the fingers and toes. I rub Belle's paws all the time so they feel comfy for her. Can you tell she's spoiled rotten? September, it is always good to hear from you, too.

Chris, it's so good to hear from you. I'm so sorry you have something more to add to your plate. I, too, have psoriasis and I have to tell you the medicine I take really helps with it and with any arthritis attached to it. Your Dr. sounds like a good one and I hope he works out fine for you. Gentle hugs to you.

Liz, no wonder you are stressed! You have lots of gentle hugs from me. What a situation!

Gus, thank you for the beautiful, beautiful pictures! They make my heart so happy.

Kiya, welcome home. Please take things easy and put yourself first, no matter how hard that is.

Belle is doing great. I am still very sick and weak, but better than I was. I need about another week to get back on my feet but I don't know if I really have that long before I re-enter the rat race.

Take care everyone. I'm praying/sending good thoughts for each of you. I love you all.

I want to share something with you. I have been taking Coricidin HBP Maximum Strength Flu medicine. It comes in a red and white box. Since I've been taking it, my fibro and back pain have been down to almost nothing.

This is really strong medicine and it will make you really drowsy, but I suppose, in an absolute emergency when you can't get the pain to break, you could take two of those. It can cause kidney damage if taken too much and it's not a good idea to take it on a regular basis, but in an emergency, I think it's a good alternative, especially since I am only allowed Tylenol for my pain.

These are just my thoughts and Heaven knows I have no scientific backing on this.

Today was the worst morning I've had in a long, Long time. Every cell in my body felt it was being tortured at a cellular level....every inch.....my stomach and bowels on fire....pain inside and out....the hair growing from my head hurt so bad. It's gotten a bit better but I feel so heavy....every step hurts....typing this hurts. How are we expected to live like this? I'm only 42......my grandpa turns 99 in September and tells me every time I see him that he's ready for the dirt. It's heartbreaking to hear....but I know he's in pain. It hurts to breath.
