Kiya you busted my bubble oh well could it still work? It's not like a whole unit hanging out the window. I am going to have to rethink this
But speaking of windows..... when McGee the cat was lost (I am thinking of sending him to his aunt Liz) I joined this online neighborhood watch thing. It's more then a neighborhood watch you can post your lost animal or if you found an animal ask who knows or recommends a plumber etc. So I got an email yesterday it's been really hot here 90+ so someone had their window open a lady climbed in the window they called the police the police locked down the area and they found the lady. It makes me really nervous and sad that on a hot night you can't even have your window open to get the cool air in Christina glad you made the move take it easy on your self and I wish you nothing but the best. But take it easy and when you are done doing your garage come do mine please Hugs to all __________________ |

It's been a very interesting day. First, the trip to the wake went well. It was sad circumstances, but it was so good to see old friends that I hadn't seen in years. My brother and I spent a good evening together.
I took Belle to the vet. This is the third vet we have seen in this practice. She told me the complete opposite of what the vet told me on the two visits beforehand. She said Belle may not have allergies and that her itching might be a sign of emotional distress. Then why have I had her on that horrible prescription food? Then she offered to give Belle allergy shots for $99/month. No way. We did agree that Belle needs more help with her anxiety so I have to go to the special pharmacy tomorrow and get Trazadone compounded into a liquid. She'll take that every day in addition to her other nerve meds. I was upset over that and running late by the time we got home. I quickly changed and went outside to meet my brother. There was Stick Man. I spoke and moved past him and he started in on me about beating Belle again. I uttered no profanities, but I told him off to a fare-thee-well. There was more, but I will not trigger some of you by repeating what he said. I emphatically told him to leave me completely alone. Tues, I will call the office and report him, for all the good it's going to do. My next step will be the police, but they won't do anything because he didn't raise his stick or try to bother Belle today. I hurt almost everywhere tonight. __________________ I still dream and I still hope, therefore I can take what comes today. Jan is in Lothlorien reading 'neath a mallorn tree. Christina, I'm so glad you love your new home and that you are basically settled in and happy. I wish you didn't hurt so much. Please take good care of you.
Kiya and Cake, here you can get little portable AC machines that do not attach to the windows. They are completely portable and they work like a charm. Maybe you could find one at the pawn shop that wouldn't cost too much. I am going to try that and I'll let you know what I find out about it. I can't open the windows here to let cool air in because Belle is afraid of the noises. I'm hoping I can kind of condition her to hear it a little bit at a time. My AC is a joke. Emily, I'm so glad you can stay cool where you are. What is this stuff you spray on yourself? If you don't mind, what is the exact name? Maybe some of us could order it from Amazon. Where is Gus? I need a picture and I need her. Liz, I wish you were here for many reasons, but I wish you could go with me when I take Belle to the vet. You are so knowledgeable! Much to my amazement I got some sleep last night. Exhaustion and sheer pain washed over me. I hate to admit that I'm a coward, but I'm afraid to do my exercises and wear my brace. I'm going to buy some Excedrin today since I'm allowed only OTC meds for the pain. Maybe that will help and I won't get a migraine from it. Have a safe and happy Saturday. I love you all. __________________ I still dream and I still hope, therefore I can take what comes today. Jan is in Lothlorien reading 'neath a mallorn tree. If this has already been posted I apologize. A friend of mine sent me this link on the newest discovery regarding fibro and I thought some of you might like to read it. My hands and feet are always so hot and painful, so this blood vessel finding brings me lots of hope for a cure for us.

Thank you for the great information Elsa.
It's so good to see you again! Gus, thank you for the dandelion picture. It made me smile. I just love them! I managed to find one of those self contained air conditioners today. They are expensive, but they do exist. I am positive that using an Ad Bulletin or going to a pawn store would help with expenses. I like your little air conditioner, Gus. I'ver never seen or heard of one here, but they are bound to be somewhere. I got Belle's medicine today. Man, it's expensive, but it will be worth it if it works. She's just a high maintenance girl! __________________ I still dream and I still hope, therefore I can take what comes today. Jan is in Lothlorien reading 'neath a mallorn tree. Thank you for welcoming me back January! That was very kind of you and it made me feel nice.
I hope you find an air conditioner as that makes such a difference in the hot months. I need to get one for my son's room as the Genius who put in the air conditioners in our house didn't do the bedrooms except for the master and my poor son's room gets so hot. If you're in the US, QVC has them on payment plans to help the budget. I've been waking up in horrible pain that causes me to shake for an hour recently....the bad dreams don't help the situation but the pain lingers longer and really sucks. I'm hoping you are all feeling as well as can be today. (((Gentle hugs))) |

I also have an "air cooler" that I pour cold water and ice into. It cools the air by 12 degrees, which isn't enough when it's 100 out and 20 degrees hotter in my place.
Mom and I were going to look at ac units today, but she ended up hospitalized with heart problems I am currently at her house taking care of "my" cat, and doing some laundry. Wrapping you all in a big hug! __________________ Credits: ChildlikeEmpress and Pseudonym for this lovely image. alt="Universal Life Church | ULC" border="0"> |

Cake, it's still important tho- gotta take the safety risk Vs passing out from heat!
There are likely things you can secure it better with to keep people out of your home. My downstairs managers have one in their window ❤️ __________________ Credits: ChildlikeEmpress and Pseudonym for this lovely image. alt="Universal Life Church | ULC" border="0"> |

Oh Kiya, I'm so sorry your Mom is so sick. I hope she gets better soon. I am glad you're getting your laundry done. Please don't give up on getting an A.C. of some type. I worry so much about you and Cake.
Elsa, you're so welcome, hon. It's always good to hear from you! Liz, I hope you're ok. Please accept these gentle hugs amd good thoughts. I went to the discount store today and bought four hand towels towels to use in the kitchen. I picked bright red to add a little color to the kitchen. I had so much on my mind, and was in so much pain that I thoughtlessly threw them in the washer with my regular towels and wash cloths. I have spent the evening getting the red dye out of all the laundry. Duh, Jan! __________________ I still dream and I still hope, therefore I can take what comes today.
