Hey everyone

I "think" the Enbrel "might" be helping a tiny bit..

I have been eating very healthy and the weight just doesnt want to fall off ( age and psych meds I assume)

So I got good and pissed off and have been hiking usually 3 miles a day... I hurt , oh yes I hurt but I think its helping to get myself moving..

I do notice when I wake up in the am and get up I dont hear as many crunches and pops .. Maybe the med? or maybe because I am off my big butt.. I dunno

I see Rheumatologist the 3rd for a follow up .. Thus far not a single side effect from Enbrel so that makes me happy.

Sorry I am not around here much but I think of you all often and hope you have good days

Folks, please keep me in your thoughts today. I have to drive to our corporate office so they can fingerprint me for a renewal of my background check. That's not what I need good thoughts for. My background check is going to be incredibly boring!

Corporate office is a two hour drive from my house. Long drives absolutely kill my fibro. I'm already having a rotten flare (bad enough I would call in if did not have this danged appointment) I'm going to be in serious pain when I get home this afternoon.

On top of the flare Ollie, one of the cats, is making frequent trips to the litter box, but not producing much pee. That can be a sign of a UTI or a blockage.

Sorry for being a whiny Debbie Downer. Life sucks today.

Liz I hear you. Long rides in the car or a plane kill me. When we fly to Florida I am down for at least 2 days when we get there. Once we get to our hotel I get food change eat meds then right to bed.

Take care Liz

Well my daughter has court tomorrow so it's going to be a long day. After there I have to drop her off then my brother in law off then depending on time the next stop is the pharmacy then the lab if I am running short on time it's the lab then pharmacy then pick up something for dinner then home then change, meds, eat and then bed.

The lab is checking me for a bacterial infection. I have one already and I am on strong antibiotics but my rhemy has 3 lupus patients in the hospital with this infection and they are in the hospital for at least 6 weeks. If the oral antibiotics don't work then inhave to be admitted for a minimum of 6 weeks. It may be longer for me since the other 3 lupus patients already in the hospital do not have the heart and lung issues I have. So lord it's going to be a long few weeks.

Take care everyone

Sending hugs and positive vibes

my little lilac buds are struggling to survive,, it snowed and froze again last nite~! on a happier note, the little raccoon rang my doorbell again last nite, well early this morning, about 3:30 a.m.,,, there was no food, and she appeared to be alone, but she was not afraid of me...

Wow, Gus!
I think you must live in "heaven" or "nirvana," with all of this wildlife around you!

in a way, i do, WC... but i would not have to be feeding them if we had not 'developed' their natural habitat... i have seen deer and ground hogs, too, but the loose dogs make it hazardous for the larger creatures, and the cats have pretty much cleaned out the smaller life... when i first moved here, 23 yrs ago, we had an owl, bats, rabbits, coyotes and even frogs~! now it's mostly grasshoppers i feel like i'm living in the end of times.....

Since I got back for a 9 month stay in Florida .. There so many people stripping there land of hard wood.. It always looks for horrid for years .. Its making a huge decrease in natural land for deer etc..

Someone about a mile away is doing it Im guessing people just need the money the hard woods pay...

I cry everytime I see a logging truck, They knock everything down and just leave piles of broken trees
