Possible trigger:
Seriously, though, I am 100% certain that the constant stress from my current bus route is contributing greatly to my physical pain! I'm going to go ahead and tough it on out for this semester, then I'm going back to my old route. It's nowhere near as hectic as this one! ... Lesson Learned! ... Stress IS NOT Chronic Pain's Friend! |

In much pain at the moment because sacroiliac joint dysfunction is acting up again and impacting my sciatic nerve ... My PCP is very empathetic and we discussed physical therapy - which is kinda difficult for me as I don't like being touched and handled due to all the physical and sexual abuse I endured the first 33.5 years of my life ... But I'm in so much pain that I was willing to give it a try until I found out it was going to cost me $70.00 a session ... That is out of pocket in spite of my insurance coverage and I simply ain't got that kinda dough! ... I've googled some information about stretches that can help relieve it and am going to give a few of those a try ... In the meantime, all I really want to do is curl up in a ball and cry!

I'm sorry you are hurting so much hon. When I get back pain from a herniated disc (sciatica) yoga helps. Do you think the gentle stretching of yoga might help? There are TV shows you could follow and tons of DVDs. |

Between changing weather and over the top stress at work I am ready to throw in the towel. I hurt from head to toe and have no functioning brain cells.

This evening I tripped over my own two feet (I get clumsy when fibro is acting up) fell and hit my head on the corner of a metal railing. It gave me a tiny cut at the hairline that bled like crazy. My house and I looked like the prom scene in Carrie before I got it stopped. Have kept an ice pack on it most of the evening, but am going to have a good sized knot on my head. Hurts like hades when I take the ice off.
Dang, it it's not one thing it's another! |

Liz be careful I hope you feel better soon. Our weather has been crazy warm one day then freezing cold the next and then the rain. On top of everything else I have 2 ear infections and a sinus infection. Then McGee our cat brought home a strange cat. That cat is now sitting on our porch meowing and meow sounds pathetic like he might be sick.

Am going to survive my bit of clumsiness from the other night.
Cake, it's go to see you here. Have been wondering how you were. Sorry about the infections. Don't you love it when one of the rescues invites another to move into the house?! |

Well, it's come down to this ... I've had to request a reasonable accommodation at work ... I'm in so much pain that I spend some of my lunch breaks in the bathroom having myself a good crying jag ... The upside is that my PCP & me are reasonably certain that we have figured out what is causing this aggravation to my condition (thus the spike in inflammation and pain) and are pretty sure that if I go back to my old route (that bus has a totally different operating system) it will help everything to settle back down a bit ... Of course, I won't ever be totally pain free but at least it will be more tolerable ... The way it is now, I'd literally rather be dead than to continue living in this kind of pain!

I am going to have to get a trap for McGee's friend at least it's not the skunk he's been trying to be friends with a skunk for a while. Right now he's sick he had a very bad reaction to new flea meds. I called the vet who had me call the manufacturer to report it and to see if what he was experiencing was a bad reaction and they said it's rare but yes it is. Our other cat sunny also got a dose and he throw up twice that's a common reaction but he throws up a lot.
My pulmonary doctor increase my pred I think any doctor who prescrips it should have fi take it first so they know how we feel I read an article today that said fibro patients should get a pet scan and that a lot of people with fibro have brain inflammation which makes a lot of sense when you think of the brain fog but I thought it was really interesting because my SED rate is always really high and we can't seem to get it down. I never thought of the brain like that. Anyway take care everyone Sending gentle hugs and positive vibes from California to you __________________ |

I got stung bu a wasp right next to my right eye Sunday. Little beast was apparently annoyed that I was cleaning up dead leaves in the yard.
I'm allergic to bee/wasp stings. I came straight in the house and put Benadryl cream on the sting, then an ice pack. That side of my face still swelled like crazy. I worked from home Monday. Figured I'd scare the kids if I went to work. Didn't think driving with one eye swollen shut was a good idea either. Swelling is almost gone, but the whole mess triggered a fibro flare. I feel like poo. |

on sunday I ate some out of date chicken so ended up with a really bad stomach ache (and other side affects too) for days
well, I say days, I think it was about wednesday afternoon when I started feeling better and of course I can't sleep, so recovery was extra slow, because I didn't have the rest that aside, honestly no idea what i'm doing or where i'm going in life, complete standstill |

Hey all new to chime in here, Christina directed me, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia around 2011 I think. Currently trying lyrica but 14 or so days in and nothing. About to start a new job stocking at Wal-Mart. Physically intense but can't say no to income. Was a Cna for years before this. Excited for my new job but not the pain I'm about to be in. I already don't sleep for crap. Flexeril does little on good days. Once I get a paycheck I'm going to try some more potent CBD. Doctors and pharmaceutical have pretty much failed. Tired of life this way. Can't talk to anyone about it because they have no concept of pain. Not really. I mean I've broken things and given birth to a child and this is just ******** in comparison. It never stops. Other pain stops.. that's what people just don't get.. Ugh
