I've been on a few meds. Most recent disaster was Savella. Mood crazymaking sleepiness and nightmare. Been taking Tylenol and flexeril twice a day. That does next to nothing. Started 75mg of Lyrica today 2x a day. God I'm hoping this helps. Constant pain is making me insane. I'm gearing up to start working and I'm trying to maintain a nice clean house and we walk everywhere cause neither of us want to drive. God I need relief!!!

Hope you are able to find the relief you need. I've struggled with a lot of low back pain over the years which culminated in a ruptured disc & sciatica. I was on Cymbalta for a year or so, several years ago now, for depression. But it was also helpful with regard to my low back pain & sciatica. Good luck with your new job (?). Boy does our home need a good cleaning!

I take Cymbalta, too, and it helps some. I also take Norco, though, since I have back problems and a bad knee. I hope you can find something that helps you.

So far the Lyrica is doing nothing. It's only been a few days tho. I do get out most days for walks and am mobile daily for cleaning. Thank you for the well wishes!! Tylenol and flexeril does almost nothing most of the time. Topical stuff is ineffective. Hot showers give about 30-60 minutes of relief and I can't foot the bill to be in there all day. My tub is stupid small and I feel dirty soaking in bathtubs. I dunno. Just an aversion. Have to shower after. Waste of all that water. I think doctors are ridiculous about pain management options. I've never been after medication or labeled drug seeking. My pain is not imagined. It is chronic and severe but she offers me squat. Lose weight exercise change diet stretch sleep better... seriously??? You live with this ***** and give it a try...

There’s a sticky at the top of the forum for Fibromyalgia, maybe you can find some ideas there.
I don’t think I’ll ever catch a break tbh __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |
