I’m dealing with a cold front and climbing the walls in pain. I took a very hot shower, in one way the water just hitting me was painful, but “ usually “ it winds up helping even if it’s just a little bit. But I had a good cry while doing it and immediately bundled up in a soft blanket. I hope you find some relief __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |

Thank you @~Christina ...
I woke up feeling a little better this morning. Nothing like a good crying jag in a nice warm shower to help loosen things up a bit. Hoping yours helped you feel a little better too! |

I'm with you ladies. The cold weather triggered a flare for me too.
How about some fibro fog humor to lighten things up? When I got home today I stood at the base of my front steps repeatedly pressing the unlock button on my car clicker and wondering why the #@%!!! front door was not opening! |

The bug I had before Thanksgiving never really went away. It's back full force again. Combine that with another fibro flare and I feel like poop.

Between cursing and crying (anger/sadness), I am slowly coming to terms with my new reality.
When you have choices but none of those choices exactly have a good outcome, then that kinda negates having a choice! Nevertheless, I am trying to be as courageous as possible ... |

I hate Fibro and my other chronic pain issues. I’d give almost anything to not have them.
I know for me I use to cry and get so angry I thought I would explode, these things still happen in times of unbearable pain. What I think helped me the most was to just grieve the loss. Your losing part of your life. You cant just make plans and assume it will all work out, often we wake up to a huge flare, so we cancel plans. Your no longer able to do many of the physical things you never use to struggle with. I use to carry 50lb bags of horse and goat feed and it was no big deal.. now I shudder at the thought of just bringing 50lb dog food in the house. I had to grieve the loss when I finally accepted I could no longer care for my horses more than basics. This crushed me when I loaded them into the trailer to start there life with a new wonderful family. You have to make peace with having Fibro fog at times. But grieving your own personal losses does help ... have a box of tissues as you write them down. I do believe it’s best to physically write them down. I hope this helps in some way __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |

Thank you so much @~Christina ...
Yes, it does help, and it is a grieving process, isn't it? I'm sorry you had to give up your horses - that's a heart breaker for sure! I hadn't thought about making a list, but I do believe that, and a box of tissues, is in order! Thank you! |

Oh boy am I in a flare
Everything is on fire and stinging. When I get like this is impossible for my arms and legs to be still , my husband often says I look like I’m having a seizure. Anyone experience anything like this ? I think of it as restless legs but my whole body Wah __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |

Well I’m headed south Saturday night probably 10-11pm ..
So far Florida weather seems okay, I’m not seeing 90’s (yet) I can’t tell you how many times growing up I was at the beach on Christmas sweating. I am not looking forward to the traffic.. not at all. I’m very spoiled here .... closest traffic light is 19 miles. And only 2 stop signs to it LOL ! I think there is a slight improvement in my breathing !! Yay ! My PsA and Fibro pain? Psoriasis flare ?! ... Ssdd But I can hug my daughter Sunday so that makes everything annoying fade away. Gentle hugs ! __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |
