Thanks, ~@Christina!
Sunday looks like a right nasty set-up for sure! It's gonna hurt, but I can't think of a better group of people to hurt along with! Here's hoping our aches and pains aren't compounded by storm damage! Pfroggy Pfingers Crossed! |

Hey everyone. Ugly weather is supposed to hit here too. Maybe I'll get some stuff taken care of in the house.
The stretches I found aren't specifically for fibro. They are for people sitting at a desk more than usual. I did some of them and some yoga Thursday. Seemed to help. Since we are all likely to be hurting tomorrow I like the idea of huddling together here. Between stress from current situation and fibro chit I find I am short on patience with people. I sort of went off on someone in one of the forums because they were defending Trump's handling of the virus. I'm not sure "went off" is accurate. I was forceful in what I said. What I really wanted to do was scream and curse at them. I know the largest part of this is caused by overall stress caused by covid situation, but do the rest of you find your temper gets short when fibro gets bad? Christina, back in the day when I was training horses I'd use the walk to the mailbox to cool them out. I don't envy you having to slog through mud. I would drive too. |

It’s suppose to warm up here and I am not looking forward to that and I can’t wait for this shelter in place to end. I have both kids at home and one doesn’t want to stay at home but go out and about. It’s frustrating
Take care everyone. You are all in my thoughts Cake __________________ |

Yeah, I feel you on that one, @lizardlady ... I just don't seem to have the patience for people's BS anymore!
Also, the easter bunny seems to have skipped over my place this year, so ... |

Hope everyone got through the storms safely!
I heard it got right nasty here around 3:00 a.m. Believe it or not, I slept through the whole thing! I reckon that's bad on one hand, but good on the other. If we'd've taken a direct hit, I'd've never known. |

Pfrog ..Glad you made it through safely.. A friend here on PC didnt take a direct hit thankfully less than a mile away did, lives were lost and many people in the hospital... No idea when the power will be back on tho. and low in the 30's .. My heart breaks for her and her elderly Mom and brother in poor health.
We are getting such horrible storms and our storm season is just starting according to the calender.. I hate to think it will get worse Hope your pain is tolerable __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |

I'm hurting like heck and have a cold/allergies/ the coronavirus or something that keeps me blowing my nose and very tired.
Oh, well, I'll take medicine and read and watch TV. Hope the weather will be warmer and everyone here will feel better. |

Hoping it's just allergies, @Travelinglady! ...
Well, I finally capitulated, y'all! Took my first dose of Meloxicam last night. Not thrilled to be taking something that can wreck your health in other ways, but ... Well, here's hoping it helps! |

Things have been strange here is California it heats up then goes cold again. My body doesn’t know which way to turn. Then my husband is thankfully still working and I am very grateful but they need face masks they will be out by today so I have been trying to make some but sitting at the sewing machine is killing my back. Oh well I made 10 last night and 8 the night before
Take care everyone __________________ |

Cake, 18 masks ought to be plenty. If they are cloth they can be washed and used again.

Well, @~Christina ... There's not much can be done for my hip (except surgery) at this point, but ...
It definitely made a difference in the overall chronic pain, brittleness & stiffness I've been having in my other joints and tissues! Hope everyone is doing as well as can be, stay safe & have a good Monday! |

Folks, I may vanish for a bit. With the stress of all the "stuff" related to Covid I'm starting to come apart at the seams. A lot of old shyte is getting triggered combined with our moronic governor who wants to open the state back up. A friend and I have started calling him mini-me because he apparently worships the prez. I can't seem to make myself stop obsessively reading the news, then popping into PC to read the news forums. Both are feeding my emotional "stuff" going on. I don't know if I will have the wherewithal to stay away we'll see. Just wanted to let you know if I vanish it doesn't mean anything bad happened, just that I'm using self-care.
